All we've heard over the last 24 hours is the penalty incident, its getting rather boring and annoying, yes Ashley Young was offside and he went down too easily but Shaun Derry shouldn't of put his hand on Ashley Young's back. Liverpool fans moaning about the diver and calling Ashley Young a diver, pot kettle, black comes to mind, i saw their highlights vs Aston Villa and Luis Suarez was diving a couple of times and ever since he came to the premier league last year all he's been doing is complaining and diving.
Every fan in the ccountry bar mancs are saying same to be fair Matt not just liverpool supporters, football fans in general. tbh they're right. Too many blatantly wrong decisions, last season refs allowing ye to play for a ridiculous amount of time funnily enough when ye were losing, even the refs excuses and lies acouldn't actually make up for all of the time he played v City. The two pens at chelsea at 3 0 down? Webb did it for ye before at 2 down to spurs, pen for nowt. If there's smoke All teams get decisions, UNited just have a luckiy habit of getting them juuuust when they need them
BBF the reason most match going United fans don't bother with this forum any more is the likes of this pilock !!!! As for the penalty, from my view , sat in the " Sir Alex Ferguson " stand ( old North stand ) it looked a nailed on penalty but there again I, along with the poor ref, didn't have the advantage of a thousand replays, from hundreds of angles, including slo-mo's to make an informed decision whilst relaxing in my armchair !!!!!!
There is some truth in what ABUs are saying that most of those decisions have been made esp. when United really need them, though I can't back that with facts. I do believe most of it is due to our reputation as the comeback kings, and how we are viewed in such high regard by everyone. When United are behind, and they are piling on pressure, I guess refs tend to think sooner or later they will come back, and also let's face it, United always (except against Barca and Bilbao) come with the goods.
Hey Alan, cheers mate, I just wish as much or if not more was made of the two offside goals scored by Chelski against Wigan. They were almost as bad as the one Drogba scored at Old Trafford a couple of seasons ago, but then again can you imagine the reaction of the media if Rooney had done that "Bottle-n- tellie " takle yesterday, they would have hounded him until the FA had banned him for life !! It's great being a United supporter, don't you just love it.
Dear Daffy and Swarbs Have you considered the implicaions of the first two words of the thread title? especially at Easter and in a thread that is likely to contain lots of agresssion and swear words and unfriendly contributions from our neighbours? I nearly choked on my hot porridge when I read it this morning. As I am of a very conciliatory nature, I won't take any action on this occasion. But please be mindful to consider the feelings of contributors like me in the future. All the best Christian
This is the one season where fans all over the world are willing the refs to make decisions for Utd. Anything so that we can all laugh at $ity. £1bn and no trophies Blue Moon rising
Stop being a twat, you did not nearly choked on you hot porridge. and easter is over, its a stolen festival from the pagens. So get off your high horse. In other news UTD are 8 points clear at the top of the table.
