Hello and welcome to the all new and improved Match day Hub which is now the official place for Gillingham fans, I decided to update this so that you will know where to go and chat before and during the game. This is here to replace the match day thread and the Starting Line up Prediction, this is where you will now be able to post all your team predictions and score updates. You can now just spend your match day in one place if you are not at the game. This is the thread for the upcoming game, I always post this thread before each game so that you can express your views on the corresponding fixture and can talk between each other during the game, You can post your team predictions before the game, you may include the starting 11 plus the subs which you think will be in the team, no points awarded for your predictions it is just for fun, it allows you to start a healthy debate between each other about the team which we will play or what it should be. If you wish you can post updates freely about the game and chat between yourselves, you are also free to talk about other games bizarre or not. This is open to both Gillingham fans and also the opposition After the match I will allow you all to create a summary on this thread and I will also provide extra details on the game if they are required or if I want to point anything out. You can talk about what was good about the game and what could have been better. During the game I will update the score and the team sheets as soon as they are available, also at the end I will add the table to this thread as it stands. This is here permanently so you will not see the Match day thread or the starting line up prediction threads as this is them combined.

Hoadie - How did/do you get the two free ticket coupon? I had completely forgot until a few weeks ago, that as a season ticket holder I am entitled to buy for friends & family two additional tickets for each of any two games at 50% of price. The trouble is some of these promotions and not well publicised.
It was from a survey which they delivered to everyone and then you had to take it back to the ground to get the coupon, they did pick up some but they didn't come and get mine so I had to go and get the coupon, I think that is the only thing they have offered them for.
I remember being given a survey leaflet but cannot remember what it was about, were the free tickets age restricted in anyway or in conjunction with something else?
brb - are you sure that it is 2 additional tickets @ half price for 2 games -- I thought it was only 1 additional ticket for 2 games ( that's what it is for next season ) - mind you the 'small print' with this offer shows how begrudging it must be. Mr.Scally makes a lot about the deal we're getting by his 'Early Bird' deal - huge prices for L2 football ! - and of course season ticket payers 'lose out' when there are ' friends for a fiver ' - kids for a quid or the offers given by The Sun newspaper. ( which never seems to get into the program until it's too late to collect the coupons - if you don't buy that rubbish )
I am hoping that my presence on Monday will help the Gills win and Keds to be back on the scoresheet. I have only got to pay a £5 for my ticket as Mark from the GISC has taken up on the friends/family offer
hope the team start to up the anti now, because the oxford game will be massive, especially when i live in oxford and have to hear about the u's being a better team from different locals...some being season ticket relatives ! COME ON YOU BLUE BOYS, DO ME PROUD AND GET US IN THOSE PLAY OFFS !!!

brb - just checked the season ticket offer for 2012 - 13 I stand corrected . It is 2 extra ticket @ half price for 2 additional games for each season ticket.......woopee doo ! ( the payer still has to pay more - not less !)
Yes, I forgot that bit as well, for EACH season ticket Although if you look on the season ticket, I could not see it in the small print any where. The only place I ever remember seeing it advertised was in the original leaflet pre season. Then the club wonders why attendances are down, I would have thought ALL such promotions should be clearly advertised again and again, rather than keep banging out pointless emails to me. New stadium? please don't make me laugh.

I won't be going now as I only just found out you can get 2 tickets for 1 games so I choose the Swindon game as I really wanted to go to that one and also did not know anyone who could go today.

We are becoming a joke at the moment, we should not be losing at home against smaller sides, but we always do that.
Half time what a mess, just come out win it and I will be happy, we need this and with Oxford losing we would be so close to the play offs, I know Crewe are in there but they could drop out.
