Nicky Barmby, he's one of our own! Now lets forget the gloom and doom and let these young un's get blooded in for the last few games and get behind Nick tomorrow and next season. We have something money can't buy in Barmby and thats his love and passion for his club, and i for one will sing my bollocks of to support him tomorrow. The team needs our support now more than ever.
Nope. I am just a realist. I don't like history and nostalgia blind me like most of the deluded fools on here.
Why can't people get their head round the fact that we are a work in progress?? Rome wasn't built in day.....
As much as I agree with your sentiments, I do think that the clubs progress does come first to that end if Nick isn't good enough he has to go. But right now he's going thro' a bad patch , and he is learning but it hasn't proved he's not good enough yet.
Spot on. I will support Hull City until I die (hence the song)... but I want the team to be doing well and not to stare down the barrel of defeats every week. I've watched the team since 99/00 in division 3; and seen it all! This is DEFINITELY not our worst time at our club but we would all agree we want to be in the promised land and as much as I think Nick has our clubs interest at heart; he should step back and let a more experienced man take the role. As for Monday... I'll be fully behind the boys and probably will be the only one singing anything in S1/S2.
This is the time when players and managers need supporters to get behind them , it's easy when you are winning , it's a pity so many people don't understand the concept of been a supporter City till I die ( or till we start losing a few games )
A real miserable bunch some of you lot are... there's always next season you know. It's only football, no one dies. As soon as NP left us, that's when things were always going to be difficult. The boost of a new in house manager faded injuries hit, no money available and here we are. You really need to get over your nostalgia and melancholic feelings about PB and the Prem. We're building a new team, it will take time. It may be 10/20 years until we're back up there... no need to get so upset and want people sacked after a few months. Take a deep breath, a few steps back and think rationally.
we have absolutely dire fans. I don't get to go to games because of the distance and I really get pissed off at season pass holders, you should be feeling privileged to see your club every week... 1/20th of the stadium bothers to sing and we have the biggest bunch of ****ing moaners ever seen. It's a real shame.
Agreed. Being sat in the south stand is HORRIBLE sometimes. Other than in E1 there's no sodding atmosphere. EVERYONE (yes that includes the West/Family stand) needs to get behind the team tomorrow!
Do we need to get behind the team to give them a right good boot up the arse? Or to do something else to their arses that opposition players have been doing to them every game for the past few weeks? If your suggesting the latter, I think I'll just sit in my seat and moan
How am i saying Barmby's bigger than the team??? There seems to be a bit of wobbling regarding Barmby not been good enough, yet only a few weeks ago when we did cardiff by 3 he was been touted as the next spurs and england gaffer by some!! The experience these lads will gain from this season will stand us very much in good stead for next year, and that includes barmby. As take that once said, have a little patience.
I quite like how there are so many opinions on city right now and some think they are always right when it's just another take on our club.
