I could manage Celtic and absolutely definitely guide them to next year's SPL title. And I'd be a lot cheaper than Malky Mackay (or even Sean Dyche).
MM, (the Watford one ) i like the way you think We can do it, yes it's an outside chance, but it's a chance. 3 points tomorrow will begin the next good run...
I do admire your optimism Mad and I don't think I'm being unduly pessimistic - call it the experience of five decades of Watford watching. In that time there's only been one occasion when the run we had at the end of the season to get into the play-offs truly amazed me - and I think most people will remember that one. We don't have that calibre of manager at the helm (at least not yet....) After the season that we've had, I certainly don't go into any game "thinking that we will lose". However, even one draw at this stage of the season would signal the end of any lingering hopes.
i have a horrible feeling i'm not going to make any of the match thread tomorrow ...we're out for a passover walk, an annual tradition..and though i tried to suggest i was going to Cardiff, i was told, in no uncertain terms, that i really wasn't! lol i'm praying for torrential rain coz then at least i can be here with everyone!
earlier in the season, indeed most of the season, i went to every home game expecting to turn teams over, that air of invincibility has gone in the past few weeks, we've been beaten at home with teams who flood the midfield and catch us out with pace and counter attacks...blackpool and hull prime examples.. thats not to say we've become easy to play against....we've drawn too many games and not converted pressure into goals..thats why we've drawn our last few home games to average teams....
Please explain average teams! Or are you so high and mighty and in the automatic promotion race, no thought not! Cardiff are exceedingly average! Otherwise you would be top of the league, nay already won promotion!!!! Warning another deluded fan!!!!!
PSH - he's just doing a Malky by getting in early with excuses - just in case - and trying to have a sly dig at us.
I know 'Swamp' is being a bit of a wum, but I HATE DELUDED FANS Little old Watford FC will roll over for the so called 'big boys' which Cardiff are NOT!!!We are where we are in the league on merit hard work by our manager and little old team
Unlike a manager who rapes and pillages his old team PSH - trouble is, what will he do if he fails - no one left to rape and he will have to stop blaming refs and 1 day less and start to build he own squad...
It would be great to get one over MM and all the others at their place but I think their greater now greater need for the three points will unfortunately get them the win. 2-0 or 3-1.
If we have two Welsh clubs in the Premier League and Wrexham in the Football League, Sepp Blatter might well demand the abolition of the Welsh national team. Not that I'm complaining.
Hornette, Passover Walk, I've got IKEA!! Sra and Jr want to buy things with the infamous "we need...", so we all know who's wallet will take a battering. Good wishes to BCFC_Red and his team, Working in Coventry hasn't been fun these last few weeks and a four point gap might shut the locals up a bit. Ak, I'm not really a regular visitor but can we change your mind about match threads?
