Sorry missed that in all the drivel. Fine you didn't, but to put him above Vettel and Hamilton is ludicrous. I'm sorry Hamilton didn't overtake anyone. I guess that happens when you stay up front from the start.

    Vettel made no mistakes whatsoever.

Barrichello was **** today. He was the WORST driver of the weekend.

There is no proof, call it a hunch based on previous form.

Barrichello's overtake on Kobayashi was awesome.

Yes, but he paid a trip to the gravel in quali and the race and his overtake on Rosberg was less awesome shall we say.

Perez had a fantastic drive today as did Petrov, Hamilton and Alonso. Webber was Piss poor today, Barrichello was horrid all weekend as was Heidfeld. Bit of boring race but happy for Lewis.

Petrov deserves full credit and I felt a little bit sorry for him during the Red Button interview as his achievement today was a little bit overshadowed by questions about Kubicas recovery, which were fair enough, as we would all wonder how Robert would have got on, but still. Great drive.

Vettel was in a class of his own, he was 3 seconds up after the first lap! But, of course, special mentions must go to Petrov.

vettel had a simple race, start 1st and keep 1st and after the 1st 5 laps you knew he was going to win...

Were you even watching the race?

It wasn't a team order - Massa went wide and Alonso had a better exit in the corner. Alonso pitted straight after the overtake anyway.

Alonso was great, Button forced him wide at the start but he was solid in a car that was very difficult to drive. Alonso he produced the overtake of the season:

I came here to mention my driver of the day but find that this thread is full of bickering with people who seem to find it difficult to accept someone else's opinion. Aah well…

I wonder… is there any point to me mentioning Perez? Probably the most outstanding début since Hamilton's arrival?
Other outstanding drivers were Vettel, Hamilton and Petrov.

I see no point in talking of poor performances in a thread which asks for opinions on "Driver of the Day" rather than "poor driver of the day". Why can't people stick to the positives which the author asked for?
