Sorry but I would be very happy to see Stoke go down. They're just a horrible, horrible football team. Having said that it would also be amusing to see them finish above Liverpool too. So in a way Stoke provide me with plenty of potential entertainment, I suppose. (Obviously not when watching them "play" football, though).

We did the same against Man City at home and won, - it is a bonafide tactic, as I said - if your not good enough to break us down or make it change our game plan then it shows up the deficiencies in your team, you need to accept this and move on.

We put 3 past Man City last week - sort of nullifies your comments about MON.

Please temper your disappointment at not being to break us down, your coming across as bitter WUMS with your playground comments and double standards, which I thought you Spurs supporters were above.

Regardless I hope you get to europe before Chelsea and Harry is still your manager next season.

Listen, mate, my view is that we showed a real lack of quality and didn't deserve to win the game, regardless of your tactics as we just wasn't good enough to break you down.

    That isn't in question.

However, as I and many other spurs fans can show some honesty, you should yourself be able to admit the cynical and at times dirty play isn't what you wish to see your team doing, as while you may have this type of siege metality, if you was playing attacking football and a team like blackburn or stoke came to your ground and tried to commit the type of dirty fouls your players were committing, then you would be moaning.

Bitter? no, more disappointed at my own team for not being good enough but also dissapointed in the sunderland fans that seem to be ignoring the dirty tactics from their team.

What is this dirty, usually the 'dirtiest' player on our side would be Clatterhard but yesterday a really nasty little player who can be much better was van der fart, Clatterhard will never be a 'class' act but van der has the ability to be better why does be commit nasty sneaky little kicks stamps and elbows all the time?

We're going around in circles here. The guy has a point, and we should have played Bale on the left and Lennon on the right, and stretched them. If we'd have got one, they would have had to come out, and then i think we would have got the more open game that we prefer.

    Well said nowsufferinginspain.

I don't believe we were too physical with you yesterday and I think the yellow card tally shows that. We had two, 1 to Larssen for a "dive" and the other to Vaughan.

With some of the comments I doubt whether some of you actually watched the match other than on the South biased MOTD

The dirty tactics are a figment of your imagination, we played hard but we played fair - I'm sick of seeing us play attacking football at home and get turned over - if you had gone one goal up you would have parked your bus - and don't say you wouldn't.

MON wanted something out of the game - Harry did not want to get beat, at the end of the season you will finish fourth and you will look at this as point gained not 2 lost.

Boss- you can get chips removed from you shoulder these days you know 0r do you just hate anything in red & white?

I watched the game live and you're clearly wrong, Mackemman.
The fact that Cattermole somehow escaped a caution for the entire game is testimony to that.
That you think Spurs would have parked the bus having taken the lead shows that you haven't watched us play very often this season, too.

  11. Exactly!! Most of wish we knew HOW to park the f**kin' bus - the Emirates a few weeks back springs to mind.....

Gardner was a dirty little sod yesterday as well.

  13. It's just a shame that you're not playing any of our main rivals, as you could have put the boot in on them, and knobbled their chances of a top 4 finish.

Park the bus, against Sunderland, how on earth could you come to that conclusion? are you suggesting Sunderland had the attacking players to force us to park the bus, or that if we got one goal, harry would instruct the players to "park the bus" if you are, then with all due respect you're abit simple mate and very naive.

As for the dirty tactics and cynical fouls, if i was to argue with a deluded northern fan, that only sees what they want to see, then we're going to go round in cicles, so any fan that is "honest" would have said from the game that

    1. Spurs didn't produce enough quality to break sunderland down.

    2. Sunderland wanted a draw (at least) at all costs, and were prepared to do whatever it took to stop us playing, even if it meant playing in a dirty manner.

    3. Dwarfs can jump quite high.

Exactly. They would have had to come looking for an equaliser, the game would have opened up, and with the speed of our counter attacking, we probably would have won by more.

Sunderland played nasty, dirty, horrible anti-football. What's to like?

    Stoke without the throw ins.

Boss-you do just hate anything in red & white don't you.

Ghoddle - way past your bedtime sonny and by the sounds of it your nappy needs changing because your full of ****e.

We took 4 points off Man City and Liverpool for you - what more do you want.

You manager didn't complain about Sunderland being physical and you know he would have if we were, so I suggest you stop whining.(I recall Defoe broke Craig Gordons arm last season with a foul :-

    http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/new...Defoe-for-breaking-his-arm-article219909.html)

Look, I will pick your Spurs dummy up off the floor and put it back in your pram for you, good luck for the rest of the season.

Well I think you'll find it's you who are throwing toys out of the pram babykins. Truth hurts doesn't it?

To repeat you are are a horrible, fouling anti-football disgrace to the game.

According to Sky you even let your grass grow long to make sure a decent game isn't played on it. How sad and small-time is that?

Bank of England club, more like Mickey Mouse :emoticon-0149-no:

The link doesn't work but I was at that game and it was a dreadful injury - in 1977 - suggest you get a grip Spurcat, Gordon's injury was a tad more recent.
