Quick question....why isnt clichy booed but toure and nasri are? Not on a wind up .... Just interested
Quite a few fans were happy to see Clichy go. He was becoming a liability. No matter how much we deny it, most of us loved Nasri and were gutted when he acted like he did, so that explains him. As for Toure, I'd never boo him. He left with no bad blood.
**** sakes. Balotelli puts in 3 studs high fouls and one handball, yet he is still on the pitch. Joke.
Man City are very lucky not to be a goal and a man down at Half time. Ballotelli should get a 3 game retrospective ban for that tackle, it was dangerous, unnecessary and intentional, it could have been a lot worse for Song.
Reckon OXO will be coming on early in the next half, also think we might see Ramsey later on too. We need OXO, we have the possession but not the flair.
Well I don't know how Balotelli is still on the pitch. Amazing. Much better performance by us from last week, but again we lack any cutting edge against a well marshalled defence. We need to be thinking about shooting from distance here and looking for rebounds. The pass it through them approach is going to be difficult. Again, defensively we are all over the place - but City have not had the ball enough to really exploit it. Kos and TV need to play closer to each other. Song best player on the pitch so far, Benayoun a little disappointing, as is Walcott.
Not the 'flat' performance that 'mirrored the one against QPR' that you predicted then Jayram ? I think we played really well for the first 25 mins, City got back into in for the next 15 and we finished the half strong. Little bit concerned at the way the ball through the middle seems to be cutting out our entire midfield, both on the ground and through the air, but to be honest, we were very unlucky to come in at HT without scoring.
