Simply put...the bigger teams get the 50/50 decisions more often than not.
Man Utd have always been my 2nd team so I have no axe to grind with them, but today, the lino was totally inept and the referee was biased. How else do you explain Rooney not getting booked for a blatantly yellow card challenge? Rafael too should have been cautioned long before he was. Mason gave virtually everything to Utd and simply saying that Utd would have won anyway isn't good enough and misses the point!!

I'd say most QPR fans are 'Anyone but Chelsea' rather than 'ABU'.

It's not a purely United thing of course, you only need to see the equally dismal officiating at Stamford Bridge yesterday. I think refs are naturally keen to get as high up in their profession as possible and as such want to get on the right side of the big clubs. They also seem far more pally with the better known players which can certainly have an influence. Rooney put in a terrible tackle on Diakite from behind at 0-0 and the ref was more concerned with getting a good view of Rooney to put in tonight's **** bank than giving a yellow card.

The ridiculous thing about today is that a referee who supports Bolton and is from Bolton was able to referee a match that could seriously impact on Bolton's season.
