Should we bid for this guy, personally I think he can add a cutting edge to our team.

I think he'd be a decent signing, should cost no more than £10 million and he has a lot of potential. I'd like to see him as an understudy to Kuyt to begin with, or maybe a more experienced winger (if the papers are true and Kuyt is leaving in the summer).

We need to sign established talented players in the summer and only a small portion of our budget should go on potential talent or gambles.

Pass on Moses, doesnt score enough and shoots too often. We've already got that in spades. Would much prefer Hoilett

Agreed, Hoilett looks a much better prospect in my opinion.

This. At one point he had the most shots without scoring. Around 57 attempts and no goals. Think Taarabt overtook him eventually.

I'd have Moses over Hoillet. Better head on his shoulders, and is he not younger as well? Had anyone heard of Hoillet before this season? We were linked with Moses in the rafa days and I would have him, gives defenders a torrid time.

Another average player. We've got enough as it is!

But what sort of width do we have though, with real pace and to take people on? He can also play up top if need. I wouldn't be unhappy with his signing but I hope we look for real quality but we might not be able to attract it. We will have to see.

I've been whinging for 3 years now.

It would be nice if the people qualified to sign the correct players would do their job.

For a team like Liverpool to go from talking of Lucas or Alonso to talking of Moses and Hoillet is a pretty big fall from grace.

I agree, I would rather have the upper tier players but again, no CL, hard to do that. Moses is still quite young and can grow. No more than 10 mil though!

Mr. Wonderful, before we signed Alonso, did anyone know about him? Gotta find some of the gems out there. I hope the Ramirez ones are true as he could possibly be one of those. I also think the De Jong rumors have weight as well, but we shall see what we have to work with.

I could be wrong but Real Madrid where interested after he dismantled their defense with typical passes not even Beckham would muster and also scoring a cracker. But you got it bang on with "going for obscure talents"... This recruiting policy will do wonders for teams in England.

Why has everyone suddenly become so unambitous with regards to potential transfers. We should be signing absolute world class players. We have enough average squad players as it is. Do we really need more?

Maybe, but Luis Garcia was a Barcelona cast off and he was good for us. I remember we were linked with Jeffren from Barca and didn't get him, thought he would have been useful and for 6 mil would have been an excellent purchase but was not to be.

Trying to be realistic, what World Class players will want to come to us right now? We need to find those gems, similar to what Arsenal do, and when we get back in the CL we will be able to have the stability and financial clout to get the top top tier players. We got Suarez which was good and I hope we can get players like him but I think it will be difficult after another year out of CL and another upcoming year out of CL.

I think you need Thiago Alcantra (Barca would sell at right price) and Clint Dempsey and promote Raheem Sterling and Coates.

Dempsey probably won't come as he has said he wants to play CL footy, plain and simple. I agree with the others though.

I would expect Clint Dempsey to like that option to be honest, he would thrive at Liverpool as he is with Fulham.

Thanks for your feedback, I think Moses is better than hoilett. Nothing wrong with buying British. In the past we have bought some foreign duds! For every mascherano think voronin, for every Torres think Nunez. I would buy Moses and have high hopes for next year.
