Southampton and Reading are both good footballing teams , both good young English managers. Play the game the right way. 3rd place is difficult. Not West Ham. Birmingham, not a club i like, though i wouldnt mind it for Chris Hughton, all round good bloke. To play so many games as well. Blackpool, good footballing side. Good manager, Kevin Phillips is a pleasure to watch. If they went up could we have him please!! Cardiff, dont like the team or the manager. Brighton, good manager, team nowt to write home about really. Just shows how average the Championship is. Got to be Blackpool for me.
All of them are long journeys, agree about the piss up tho. Good chance 2 of Sheff U Sheff W or Hudders coming up for easier journeys.
yeah and i missed charlton last time so will be good to get the chance to go there and chalk it off the list..
Definitely Southampton. You want Reading out of this league too as they're well backed. Surely if West Ham fail they cannot afford to pay those sort of wages for another season.
Get rid of the long journey's, bring in a couple of Yorkshire teams. I'd like to see Southampton, Reading and Brighton go up. Not only are they pretty long trips, but they are about the 3 most likeable teams of the lot.
It'll be Southampton and Reading up automatically, with West Ham to win the play offs. West Ham have far too much up front not to get promoted. Unless they choke, but I can't see that.
I'd love West Ham to not go up, the money they've spent and will continue to have to spend on wages would surely feck them over? Southampton and Reading to go up automatically, and i'd like Birmingham or Blackpool to go up with them, Birmingham cos they've had a massive season, in which they've won more european games than Man U this season and cos I like Hughton, Blackpool because they did the premiership the right way and the way, if we ever go up again that we should follow, by not spending stupid money, and coming down with a good sqaud on manageable wages to mount a second charge at it. Fair play to all four of them, any 3 from that lot will be good to see.
Reading are flying as are Southampton so I think they will be top 2. Blackpool in the play offs for me - be hilarious if WHAM fail to go up
Depends which way you look at it. Chazz wants to see the nicer teams go up and DJ wants to keep them in this league to play. I tend to go with the former because I can't stand horrible teams like West Ham doing well. For that reason I'd go with the 3 Chazz suggested, even though Reading always annoy me with the likes of Kebe and Harte cheating all over the shop.
Reading and Southampton for the automatic places and either Birmingham or Blackpool to win the play offs.
