Well yes, I suppose we do agree on what you say in your first paragraph, although I do think in part, our FB's (particuarly Walker) could do better on cutting out the cross into the box at times. Can't agree with you over Brad being our weakest link though. He isn't, and although all managers are always looking to improve all areas, we are looking at goalkeepers more because of Brad's age rather than his current performances.
looking for a weak point seems picky considering how we play well as a team from 1 to 11....... however if anything i would say our full backs both present the oppo with chances...ive said for a while that yes hes great at attacking but as a full back Walker does not read the game too well and has been found out of position on a few ocassions.... i dont know wht to say about BAE..hes a great character but he doesnt half get twisted quite easy at times. thats me trying to be critical of a general weak point if i hd to.
Dona re: Benny - I appreciate that he is not everybodys cup of tea, but the only PL FB that consistently is referred to as an alternative is Leighton Baines. Yes, he gets more goals (from set plays generally and gets to take most of them) but his positioning for Howsons goal for Norwich yesterday was appalling - and Benny would have been slaughtered on this forum had we conceded in that manner. Sometimes the grass isn't necessarily greener....
I'd agree with that. He can be the most irritating, sometimes infuriating, player with some of the giant cock-ups' he makes. Then 5 minutes later, he'll go and do something brilliant.
