When you look at the players that have come through the youth system over the last 10 years is unbelievable, Sunderland have got about 5 former United players in their squad is a testament to the coaching staff at the club, we have alot of player that have come through the youth system that play in the championship, James Chester, Robert Brady ( on loan from United ), Cameron Stewart, Joe Dudgeon, Josh King ( on loan from United ), the people at the club deserve all the credit they get.
Cleverly and Welbeck are the real potential future stars that have come through our youth ranks recently. Possibly Pogba and Fryers too.
Don't forget Tunnicliffe. I reckon he's further along than Pogba already and should get a chance in the 1st team next year.
Yep good players having their careers elsewhere in the premiership. What amazes me however is the number of managers of premie rship and championship clubs which have come out of Old Trafford. The number is incredible and the next club must be far far behind. Hughes, Bruce, Robson, Ince, Ferguson, Strachan to name just a few...
I read a while back that United signed some young Brazilian prospect Dodo? Anybody hear the same? Defender.
That deal fell through in 2010 iirc. He's definitely not signed for us yet, tho' not sure whether he went somewhere else or is still at Corinthians.
