We've seen so many world-class players play for us like George Best, Denis Law, Sir Bobby Charlton, Eric Cantona and many more, what i would like to ask United fans on here who do you think is the most talent player we've had ?
The most talented player I have seen playing for Man Utd is Ronaldo but I would think the most talented ever would be George Best (or maybe one of the Busby Babes if they had lived to fill their full potential).
george best, closely followed by ........................................ arnie sidebottom & ashley grimes!
From what I have heard from the players Nani gets a lot of praise in the current squad Also I know he failed to a degree at UTD but Veron was a very talented player From what I have read and heard Edwards was a beast of a player
He was good for us in his debut season but in his 2nd season with us he made mistakes which cost him his place in the team
I've got Paddy's autograph. Pride of place in a book with the greenhoffs, Stuart Pearson etc. He was the man though. Thought it said Paddy peel.
this happened .. <short version> Jimmy Greenhoff was introduced to me once completelu out of the blue, I just stood there as if I'd just witnessed the "second coming", once I composed myself we had a good long chat - no guesses what the main topic was!? anyway he wished me well in life and parted company, ......... i kicked myself for not getting an autograph or something else apart from a forever memory of the event ... the man is still a legend to me!
I have watched at OT the Greenhoff brothers play in midfield, and Martin Buchan and Gordon McQueen at the centre of the defence. I am prepared to bet that very few people (if any) on this board have ever seen them. Great servants for the club but not the best ever.
