    Enjoying a pre-match beer. What does everyone think? Great to have it back but certainly needs bedding in so to speak. Very just painted feel. Oh. Here comes z-cars!

    It wasn't too bad at about 1 but when I returned at half 1 after picking up some tickets it took me a good 15-20 mins to get served. Good atmosphere though!

    I went in there at about 2.15 and ended up losing patience at the wait - someone said that they'd run out of clean glasses. As for the walls, be interesting to see how they end up after showing an England game from the Euros.

    A planning application outside indicates that the first floor is being converted into flats. Now who would want to live in a flat over a pub next to a football ground?

    Morning all - busy day yesterday and the match was a bit of a let down. I am going to see what happens next Saturday - if we struggle against Dull City, I am banning Little Miss W_Y from going. She was back yesterday and looked what happened!

    Very little profit in The Pub game these days AK - with The Red Lion's busy days being limited to less than 30 in a year? They will need to find something to pull the punters in...
