Providing that Green is fit i would go with the following:- Hamer Solly,Morrison,Cort,Wiggins Green,Pritchard,Stephens,JJ BWP,Kermy Subs Sullivan,Taylor,Cook,Nguessan,Hayes
How many times has that midfield changed during the season - but the back five remains the same (well, Cort or Taylor)
Obviously it depends how fit each player is after today's fun and games. Some might be reporting in with minor niggles which would make it foolish to play them with another physically hard game coming up on Saturday. Jackson was obviously fit enough for the bench but is he fit enough to start yet? And is Haynes fit enough for the bench? Or to start? Assuming everyone is fit I would like to see: Hamer Solly, Morrison, Cort, Wiggins. Green, Hughes, Stephens, Cook BWP, Hayes Subs: Sullivan, Taylor, Jackson, N'Guessan, Pritchard. Give Kermorgant the rest of the weekend off for three days in Brittany. He has more than earned it.
A win on Monday gets us to within 3 points of mathematical certainty. I think I'd therefor persevere with Kermit unless he is injured or knackered. I'd play Hughes but i suspect CP will opt for Pritchard. If green is still unwell he might play both Hughes and Pritchard.
Out of curiosity, does anyone know our cumulative yellow card statistics? Are we getting anywhere near suspensions other than those who were sent off today? Wiggins and Big Yann must be getting close.
-------------Hamer----------- Solly----Cort----Morrison----Wiggins Green----Stephens----Hughes----Cook -------Kermorgant----BWP--------- Subs: Sullivan, Taylor, Jackson, Haynes*, N'Guessan *if available, if not then Pritchard.
He has been running on empty for some time and flirting with red cards in nearly every game. If Hayes isn't good enough to step in against Walsall, when CP has (unusually for him) promised to rotate some players this weekend, what was the point of bringing him back from Wycombe? With 6 goals in 6 games he was rebuilding his reputation and sale value nicely there. The other reason I would like to see Hayes in against Walsall is I think there is an outside chance we might start passing the ball along the ground. But he would need to play out of his skin to keep a rested Kermit out against Carlisle.
Hamer Solly Morrison Cort Wiggins Green* Jackson* Stephens Cook Hayes Wright-Phillips Sullivan Taylor Pritchard Hughes n'Guessan This relies on Green being well enough and Jackson being fit enough. If not then Pritchard on the right and Hughes in the middle. Also, if Haynes is fit enough and so is Green, then Haynes in on the bench rather than Pritchard.
Green unlikely to be fit - gel poisoning's a serious business. I assume he's now recovered from his shoulder injury? Ledesma looked sharp on the highlights for Walsall, but I'm not expecting any nasty surprises.
Why do people keep mentioning Alonso?, he has played one game - was cr4p, why is there a clamour for him? dont get it!
If Green is out, our midfield may well beritchard,Hughes,Stephens:JJ. Is ther any midfielder apart from Alonso to put on the bench?
Hamer Solly - Morrison - Cort - Wiggins N'Guessan - Pritchard - Stephens - Jackson BWP - Hayes BWP to come back in for Waggy (N'Guessan to drop to the wing), Jackson to come back in as Captain with Pritchard as the obvious replacement for Hollands. Hayes to replace Kermit who looked spent after the game Bench Sullivan, Taylor, Cook, Haynes, Kermit
Replace Kermy at your peril!....You would look spent after the effort he put in...I am sure he will be ready for tomorrow.....
