I know mate, but we've got a good few days after Fulham to prepare so we should be letting the players rest next week for a couple of days. Go through some match prep but nothing vigorous - I'm sure RDM knows this Monday I'd play; Cech Ivan Cahill Luiz Cole Mikel Ramires Sturridge Lampard Kalou Torres
Not much we can do about an offside goal. It's purely a referee's call. We didn't try to con the ref by diving for a free-kick/penalty or try to get the opposition booked/sent-off which a team that plays in red and another team that plays in blue/purple do on a weekly basis.
Looks decent and I never thought I'd say this but I'd give Paulo another run out. I also think Bertrand deserves to keep his place for the Fulham game. Englands future left back & head and shoulders above that scummer twat Gibbs.
either would be more than nice provided we don't **** it all up and lose the qualifier to Partizan Belgrade like in 2006.
Lady luck smiled on us today...but lets remember that we're trying to manage a possible 10 games this month and we had a lot of "2nd" choice players out there . Powder dry for Fulham!
Unfortunately that is not how luck works. Just by chance some teams get a run of good luck and some bad. (Technically it is called a probability distribution - there are 380 matches in a season so if there was just over one wrong game changing decision in every fourth match then that is like tossing a coin 100 times - while the most likely outcome is 50 heads and 50 tails something like 45 heads and 55 tails can is still likely enough that at least one team should get the benefit on that ratio which means they might end up with ten points more or fewer than the deserve). The more wrong decisions there are, the more likely that someone will benefit a lot and someone will lose a lot (although most will be in a group in the middle). If the best team is to win the league it is therefore really important that errors are minimised so I support review technology, for line calls (including offside) at least. Not sure what to do about the inevitable bias towards the better teams though - that is harder to sort out.
Luck can suck my balls basically! if it was all swings and roundabouts my team might have won something in the past 60 years. Luck needs to spread the love a bit more
Jesus **** christ! I can't accept you fail to see Wigan and a few other clubs would not be thanking the linesman and therefor I'm arguing there is two sides to every coin!!! are you serious? if yes then eat some musli every day for a while at least.
I'm ok with it now and have been for ages! I even apologised in earlier posts, however a few cabbage bonces have failed to realise that.
Apology accepted I'm quite fond of Newcastle and especially how well they've done since being relegated so don't undo all the praise I've given you this season
