On the back of four defeats, key players out injured, expectation at a season-low - these are sometimes the games where you're taken by surprise.
mclean garcia and stewart wide, evans and cairney in a midfield 2... only according to swanny, probably nothing like that..
just remembered why i usually go, burnsy and swanny discussing take me out, and the follow up show!! ffs!
I wasn't the only who couldn't give a monkeys about that then..... Happy with the side, giving Cairney game time and playing Stewart. Stewart maybe not be in form but at least next year he will be our players, so why give loan players game time if we ain't going to have them next season?
sounds like we had just mustered a shot on goal as well, what time will we have our next one...ill go for 74 mins
coventry hadnt won away all season, millwall havent won in 8 home games.. cant believe how quickly our fight has evaporated..
55% of the possession and once again we can't make it count. Hardly surprising, the players most likely to create something are all on the bench.
Unfortunately i bet there'll be alot of part timers/ plastics that will actually think this. City's attendances will suffer next season.
It's not as bad as Dowie's selection at Stoke. That was the game where when you looked at it you could actually see the 7 man subs bench beating the 11 man starting lineup despite the lack of numbers. I suppose for Barmby it would be more of an achievement with only 5 subs to be named to manage the same thing, although I could see them getting a draw.
i just cant believe how quicky weve changed from a team who where creating chances for fun, and just wasting them to one who barely shoot.. its like pearson has invaded barmbys body, at least then you always felt we had a chance, i cant see us getting back in this at all now.. it cant all be koren can it??
Still half a game to go, not really bothered if we don't win, our season ended 2 weeks ago. Would still be nice to finish above Leicester, but if we finish 9th or 10th its an improvement on last season so I'll take it
