We must all go to the game in the most positive of moods and get behind the team and cheer them on to the most emphatic of victories to improve our goal difference and change the optimstic mood of the the Reading and West Dam fans to one of utter despair.

We are the South's and Hampshire's finest football team. Today we go out and show why that is so.

Today we frighten the lives out of the enemy.

Godders you are so right. Can I just add to that and say "the league's finest team too"

If all these games were played together then it would just be three wins for the top three; status quo.

Who does that leave us? I'm not particularly enamoured with all three of those.

You can have the first two for we have Cortese, Nigel, Rickie and most of all our very own heavenly influence whispering in God's ear at this very moment and telling the Almighty of how the Saints originated from good honest churchgoing God fearing young men whilst the heathens from the east are the offspring of brewers, fornicators and debtors and beyond redemption.

I must be an incorrigible blaggard then, because I come from further east still.

Older stock by a long way too. Knorr what I mean.

Well that's you damned then. As a born again atheist and lifetime republican I must take care I don't follow you! I shall be imploring the football gods come kick off, of course.

I don't like that interbreeding insult and never have but I would never take umbrage at being called a fornicator as that sounds like it could be great fun.

Rather sadly I am probably a little too old to enjoy it as much as I might like to now and may have done 50 or so years ago had I had the chance.

I will be doing all the usual mambo-jumbo* to my Deity of choice, the flying spaghetti monster, as I am a devout Pastafarian. I would like to call myself a Republican, but I am worried that people might confuse me with someone who believes that the Earth is less than 10000 years old and see no conflict in being A pro-lifer but support the death penalty.

    * very low church, actually. Simply attend the Cathedral at St Marys periodically.
