What the hell else is there to go on? He's made 2 sub appearances since coming back and one of them was the one you've mentioned in which we all agree he did well. Even if he was absolutely terrible at Portsmouth (according to Amber Nectar he did enough to earn a start the next game) that would be one good game in two. Who else is has that kind of record in our attack? For example Fryatt runs around every game but how often does he have any impact?* It certainly isn't half the time. I'm not having a go at Fryatt before anyone starts, I'm using him as the obvious comparison because they're both strikers. I find it bizarre that since Koren's injury we still haven't seen Brady in the middle yet, the player who when given a game there has been as good as Koren in that role!
I'd like to see Cairney given a run in the Koren role until the end of the season to see if he can cut it there in the Championship over a few games, if he can't then Nicky will have good info for next season. Brady is probably a better option there but he might not even be at the club next year.
I'd play McLean up front and drop fryatt .... But what would I know . I would also play king and Simpson ..

i have no problem with garcia starting as i like him at this level... but why the fcuk was he not even involved during the hectic march even on the bench, yet straight to the starting 11!
