CP--Your message is spot on! The important thing though is we only have one English team in the competition! I know there are the anti-Chelsea brigade over here who cant get on with us doing the business in the CL, but there are a majority who will want to see us progress! The eyes of the world will be on this fixtture and the fact remains that the ref will be under a VERY BIG microscope! Orebro had to go into hiding! Will the ref for our fixture(s) want to emulate him?

Chelsea pensioner: you don't have to provide evidence for the utter bollocks you talk, so good evening and good luck. Imagine if you had to justify all that twonk!

Yes. Have your team never won a match with the help of refereeing decisions? Ah no, they're whiter than white , I forgot.

    What utter hypocrisy.

I hope the ref has a good game and the better team on the night wins. If that is Chelsea, well done

Beside the point, what happened in 09 was an utter disgrace to football. Barcelona didn't deserve to go through one little bit but did because of that inept ****hole Ovrebo.

Every team knows Barca get help from the referees - more than most. It's not a conspiracy for no reason kid.

Then why do you even care who wins it?

<applause> ****ing this. I don't mind if Barca genuinely out play us, but to go out because of blatant cheating really gets my back up.

And in England it is Man Utd. who benefit. The better the players the more decisions the refs give them. There are reasons other than corruption why this happens. Anyway while Ovebro was inept, that doesn't mean there was a conspiracy.

By conspiracy I mean - Barca always get the rub of the green.

People say United scoring last minute goals isn't coincidence as it happens over and over again, well that's fine but equally nor is the fact they get 5/6 minutes added on time when they are losing or the fact they get so many favourable decisions at crucial times.

So what is the explanation for today's 'decision' was the ref inept or corrupt. If the former, have the sense to allow that for Barca's refs. If the latter, stop moaning

ffs, don't even dare compare some bad refereeing on ONE day to that night a few years ago, it wasn't just one offside decision it was tons of decisions that went against us.

    I'll say here what I said on the match thread;

    We were lucky. Very lucky.

However, every team gets lucky decisions going their way, I for one only complain when it's consistant (United, Barca) - that isn't the case for us.

The fact is that Barca are favoured. As United are here. Common knowledge whether you like it or not.
Nothing to do with bungs. If there is a big decision to be made then they will get it.

Actually it seems to be both goals! That is worse than anything Ovebro managed. As I said before - good teams get the good calls for a number of reasons, most of them associated with psychology. There is bias - the issue I was arguing about is whether there is corruption. I am sure there is not. If I am proved wrong then I will give up watching football and so would any proper supporter/fan.

On the evidence of the refs taking it up the arse from Roman I'd say your correct. FFS if the toon miss out by 2 points I'm going to open my fron door, get in my car, shut the door, drive to todays referees location, take him hostage, set him on fire, put in out, set him on fire again, piss him out and go back home.

I agree - it was a Chelsea poster who effectively said it was all down to who Platini wanted to win. That is what I was arguing against.

Did you watch it? Get to **** man, one terrible decision was made BY THE LINESMAN, **** all to do with the referee. Wigan did not deserve to win at all, they deserved a point.

You're acting extremely petulant and you were behaving exactly the same after we beat you 3-0.

Well **** for brains it's basically highly frustrating when the refs are doing all tney can to ensure a team with vast amounts more money robs us a place in europe. Apart from that having been relegated due to a disallowed goal we scored against Fulham before we played Villa I feel for Wigan. The game you won 3-0 was a robbery based on a decsion not to send of that usless defender Luiz. The ref ad his blind aids have to be accountable for bad decsions. If you supported a team that never ****ing wins anything you would feel rather different about this type of thing.
