cisse edit: just for the simple fact we dont have a striker and i reakon he would fit in really well with our set up
Got to agree with smithy here Cisse seems like a very good player, didn't know anything about him when we were looking at him but, would definitely have him in the team. Fair enough it could be the surprise factor and, he may not have the same impact next season but, I'd take a punt on him for the same reasons as smithy as well.
Easy one cisse, he got lost on the way to the SoL anyway.. Hate to say it but he is going to be devastating defences next season.. Though it remains to be seen if the rest of their squad will still be there.. I kinda feel a little sorry for for the mag fans tbh. They have built a good solid squad with some stand out players, the two biggest problems they have is their chairman is a complete tw*t and will sell to the highest bidder and their manager, while not a bad manager, has a fear of success and a flight risk. (before any mags on here say it yes MON did leave villa but it was well documented that the chairman and the club didn't share his ambition to add to a halfway successful team) Pardew seems the opposite he has had chance after chance at some top clubs and walks away right at the point you think he should be pushing on and when he has the backing of boards.. How many fans of west ham, Southampton, reading or charlton would want him back at their club..? On the flip side talk to any villa, celtic or leicester fan and offer them MoN back and they'd take your hand off. North East football is all the better for having two good sides competing at the top end of the best league in the world I just hope it continues and both the boards back the managers and both managers stay the course.... Please don't read this wrong mag fans I'm not digging at your club, just your manager, don't respect him as a manager and think you could do a lot better.
got to be cisse - we are crying out for a striker and you've got two cracking ones, but i think of late cisse just shades it.
Ba. Big strong lad who would play the powerful target man to Sessegnon guile and touch. Ba is a goal scorer who has done it now over 2 seasons in the EPL and with 2 different clubs. Cisse has started brilliantly but will defenders work him out more and will he handle the physical side he will suffer in the future? Ba is one of those players for me that you cant stop, even if you kick him or think you have him worked out. Takes the ball so early for shots and is a terrifying sight. Mind you, both did **** all against us?
Unquestionably HBA. He's your best player by a country mile in my opinion, and that is in a a very strong side. Simply unplayable on his day (i've liked him since way back to his Lyon years)
Got to say if I was Sunderland fan I would agree with most of you guys, you know our players too well
Krul - I think he's earned Newcastle a lot of points this season, excellent shot stopper and from what I've seen of him he commands his box well.
