The lifes a pitch guys are terrible at getting anything right.

Now that QPR have shown theyve got the ability to step up, its a straight race between 4 game by game. I expect quite a few big upsets from a couple of teams yet.

What i will bet on though are the heavy outsiders this weekend

villa to beat liverpool at 9, wigan to beat chelsea at 14 or draw at 6, QPR to beat Man U at 19, or draw at 8.

I'd fancy anyone against liverpool at the moment, and the odds for you against man u are enormous! surely worth a few quid?

So do I which is why I have them going down with us unless we get at least 9 points.

I would never bet against Man U personally. The only time I ever did was when City played them at Old Trafford in October.

I'd stick a quid on Wigan to draw.

I agree with you on Liverpool, I think Villa can get something there.

If I were a betting man though my money would be on Bolton to beat Fulham (who are bound to rest players for their game against us).

Bolton and Sunderland are my outsiders to win.

Why would Fulham rest players for their game against you? Surely they would fancy their chances of 3 points against Bolton as a better bet. Notice their Russian has stopped scoring, predictably....

It depends which way you look at it. Fulham have never been good travellers. Are the players really motivated to go up North against a gritty Northern side or would they be more up for a West London Derby live on TV in front of millions of viewers. Any team would fancy their chances more at home IMO.

Can we trust the mid-table nothing to play for teams to go all out for wins?

No one at the beeb thinks we are safe, time to prove them wrong (starting next week I fear)

I have not seen us lose away from home this season - Everton and Villa - if TF wants to throw me a free seat on one of his planes, I'll get to Old Trafford to keep my lucky run going. Need to know soon though TF!!!

I really think Wigans relegation could be confirmed on Apr 28th at 18:50 GMT after their Newcastle game, don't see them getting too many points, if any from their next 5 games. And the final team to get relegated is one of Blackburn, Bolton, AV or us. If Villa can't get points from L'pool, they're in big trouble. Villa v Bolton on Apr 24th may well be the game that decides their fate.

Swords, I take it you disagree?

All my Fulham mates are looking much more forward to the derby on Monday, most have even forgotten about the game tomorrow, surely the same might creep into the players mindsets?

Agree Col, I remember when Norwich went to Fulham on the last day in 05/06 thinking they'd stay up with ease as Fulham had nothing to play for and they won 6-0. I don't really believe in having "nothing to play for", if you are a professional you always want to win and for the midtable sides often the pressure is off so they can play with a bit more freedom.

Erm.....you seem to be contradicting yourself there!
I'm saying that mid-table teams CAN'T be trusted to go all out for the win...hence my example of Norwich being pretty ****e since they reached safety!!

Sorry I misunderstood, I thought you meant the opposite. In fairness to Norwich they've had a very tough run of games

    Sorry, bad grammar <ok>

You can guarantee the mid table bastards will play out of their skins against us.
Though I am looking forward to next year, when we have been safe for weeks and Norwich need us to beat someone for the yellow and green flying vermin to stay up. One of those vanishingly rare occasions where an Rs loss would be tolerable....
