Tend to agree with you But i would fancy Chelsea more if the game was the final. Over 2 legs i would expect Barca to prevail. I shall watch the refs in these games as well for any hint of Barcelona bias. If nothing else watching Barcelona play the game the way they do should be compulsory for all football fans. Poetry in motion.
you know my reply: an english team? with english owners? from a theme park at the end of the M1, the least English place in the British Isles. Even Dublin is more English when Eire are at home!!!
We haven't got an English owner either, but you'll never convince me that Hull City aren't an English club.
i think of all the english clubs chelsea have the best chance against barca, where arsenal/man u try and outplay them and fail, chelsea are capable of mixing it up a bit and getting in there faces etc...still expect them to fail tho.
I think this so-called bias is an invention from the Special One, if anything it could work the other way with the match ref keen to show that they are not biased.
I was going to ask about that. It's usually one leg on a Tuesday and one leg on a Wednesday for each pairing, and ITV now show the Wednesday games all the time. (I seem to remember they used to try to show both legs of the British teams once we were down to just one left)
Not interested at all .. I must be a boring bastard because I only watch games that include Hull City .. Having said that I was a big fan of the conference games they use to show on the tv .. Guess I'm not really interested in the bigger teams.. I don't watch England games. Or cricket.. And I won't watch the Olympics either ..
I tip my hat to you Sir (or Madame of course) and agree wholeheartedly. London is to Britain, what Disney land is to America. It`s just a series of tourist attractions so why the excitement about about something that has nothing to do with anyone apart from the Queen, Goofy, Mickey and some Beefeaters perhaps?
This. Plus, relegated to ITV1? Wow, yeah, so wider audience, no benefit to Murdoch, that's a real relegation. Yeah, I see you're a fan of real football...lol I'm also intrigued to see how well Di Matteo is doing with them, seeing as hes doing a better job than previous supposedly better managers. I mean, MK > WBA > Chelsea possibly in the CL final. That's impressive by anyone's standards. I hope Chelsea do well, if nothing else it will piss Arsenal, Liverpool and the 2 Manchesters off. Mostly Liverpool.
