Is Easter Weekend..So do share your thoughts.. So as it's sort of a prayer time then what will you be praying for? For me, it starts with a phone call tonight from my eldest daughter to be there when times are tough, for my son and his wife and there news that a little one is on the way (this time lad, it will happen ), for a reason as to why the good lord is such a twat to the good one's.. Have a great easter laads, a win against the spuds & remember.... Ha'waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay the Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaads..
Praying for SAFC to win as always. To yourself and all fellow not606 members hope you have a fab Easter.
Being an Atheist, it's just another holiday weekend for me. As the boy and his mates are going to be off for a dirty few days somewhere after the match. I was thinking about packing the fishing gear into the car with a couple of cases of beer and do some worm drowning.
Only a ****ing athiest could write this thread but seeing as we are here then I hope it rains Sunday..
Dan's lass is expecting? A big well done to them bud. I will never have what I want most, (selfish I know). If I was gonna pray it would be for all my kids to have a long, happy & healthy life. I'm a simple soul really & that would do me. .
You might be a simple soul Billy but to me and many others you are simply sound in every simply brilliant way
I would describe myself as more of an agnostic rather than an athiest. Back to the OP:- In the short time I have off over the Easter Weekend, I will strive to make the time I have with my kids as happy and enjoyable as possible. Of course it would be fantastic for the lads to go and beat Spurs on Saturday, and I will be there roaring my team on for all I'm worth. However, there are far more important things in life than football, and that is something that I will never forget.
