As you can guess, they'll talking about the derby at the weekend. Tony Husband has just tweeted this: #pompey John 'PortsmouthFC' Westwood and #saintsfc Herbert Taylor- exploring the rivalry ahead of the derby. Tonight 6.30 BBC1
does anyone reckon that Saints should lend pompey some money to keep them afloat to heal the rift between the clubs?
Lending money implies you get it back .... and the way they run that club, i doubt its a safe bet! So nope
Not sure it's even allowed. Even if it was ok to do so, there would be a contingent on both sides of the Hamble who would resent it. Best left alone.
fair enough, I was just making sure about that! i personally wouldnt lend them a sausage and if i did it would be a cheapo walls sausage that was out of date and likley to cause a stomach upset.
Yeah but it was only about 15 seconds. Can't even remember what he said. I don't think it was anything we didn't know already, pushing for Prem blah blah, excellent facilities for the future blah blah.
PFC would refuse your sausage, pay 3 times the going price for an expensive (? from Israel) overrated sausage and get someone else's chipolatas on loan.
undercooked sausages are the worst, very upsetting to recieve. I would undercook a dozen sausages and send to PFC in a sea of cold lumpy mash potato mixed together with out of date milk to counter the chipolata bid from israel.
Are we all wrong? Most of us think that PFC is a football club, whereas some think it is a charity to rival Save The Children.
If they passed the hat round, I'd contribute, providing the money wasn't going anywhere near any of their unsavoury ex owners.
then their very silly then. they should have opened a grffin savers account years ago and looked after there pennies instead of canning it all on smack and alchohol and fa cups.
