I just had a butchers at the French team and thought - decent team !!!

    Hugo Lloris
Sagna - Koscielny - Kaboul (Mexes is ****) - Evra
    Nasri - Diaby - M'vila - Ribery
    Benzema - Menez

Cor ...... thats a decent team !!! I reckon semi finals of the Euros at least - if Diaby was playing.

Not a patch on the Spanish side. Reckon the Germans are better too.

I think they can give the Dutch a run, I don't see what makes them better than France .. and also the Germans. Anyone care to knock up teams for the Germans and the Dutch so we can compare ??

They do but that team you posted is NOWHERE NEAR their best team.

    --------------------Lloris
    Sagna-----Koscielney-----Sakho------Clichy
    ------------------M'Villa---------------------
    ---------Gourcuff----------Nasri-----------
    Ribery----------Benzema----------Malouda

Bench: Diaby, Mexes, Remy, Diarra, Flamini.

I think the Germans have the best squad after the Spanish though.

    Germany...

    --------------------Neuer
    Badstuber---Hummels----Boateng----Lahm
    ------------------Khedira---------------------
    ---------Ozil--------------Goetze----------
    Muller-------------Gomez----------Podolski

That still leaves the likes of Schwenstiger, Klose, Marco Reus, Kroos and Mertesacker on the bench.
But the main thing is the sheer amount of quality young players coming through.

Rami is France's first choice centre back and Sakho is better than Kaboul.

    France's best XI:

    Lloris
    Sagna Koscielny Rami Evra
    M'Vila Cabaye
    Ben Arfa Valbuena Ribery
    Benzema

TheBear - Malouda and Clichy ... really ?? Evra is better than Clichy and Menez is better than Malouda surely - I was gutted when Menez left Roma .... quality player.

I winced when I saw the German team .... but I winced equally looking at the midfield and forward line up of France. The Euros should be a feast of football, lets hope the Dutch turn up with an attacking mentality, they let themselves down massively in the WC final.

Holland's front 6 is something like

    -------MVB----De Jong

    Robben-----Senijder--------Kuyt

    --------------RVP

I have no idea regarding their back four.

Holland and Germany are better, and I laughed pretty hard when you put Diaby in the French team.

Why? He's our best midfielder when fit.

As said already - Diaby when fit is fantastic <ok>

I underestimated the Dutch team, that midfiled and attack is pretty awesome. I don't see how England stand any chance whatsoever of doing well in the Euros.

They've not got a bad team, but they're not challengers by any stretch. Germany is the strongest team in the world right now, as Spain shall find out.

Spain are comfortably the best international team on the planet. No team comes close to them.

Except for Germany. Spain rely on a system that relies on Messi to be good. Therefore, without Messi, they were able to only just win one of the weakest World Cups in recent memory with 1-0 wins. They managed to put aside the Madrid/Barca hatred for a while but I imagine they might split into the two camps again if things start going against them.
Trust me, Germany are going to win because they have incredible players and an incredible team ethic.
