I take great exception to your ascertion that Portsmouth Football Club's financial accounting is ficticious. I think you will find that the correct term is 'creative accounting'! <whistle>

It all points to a torrid afternoon for us Pompey fans, but we've seen plenty of them lately so what the hell. It's a funny old game, so you never know but I don't think we've got the stomach for it. Too many loanees and two or three of our best players elsewhere so it's going to be tough. It's a shame Fatboy looks like he'll be back as they're definitely a one man team. They always struggle without the lump.

You will always struggle to understand football fatandfunkyfunky.
One man teams don't lead the championship for most of the season especially in a league you said last season we wouldn't survive in.
You must take that massive chip off your shoulder

    28 goals says otherwise dopey.

Did I really say you would'nt survive in this league? You were always going to be OK in this league.

Next seasons another matter though. <laugh>

Not a very thoughtful comment Wilts saint, bearing in mind all the big news at the moment is about the centenary of 'RMS Titanic' sinking in the North Atlantic ocean back in 1912.

You will be coming up with jokes about Iceberg Lettuces next.........

Yes, most Pompey fans will only support Saints when Hell freezes over.

Handy if it did really. You could perhaps "skate" on over. <laugh>

Actually, thinking about it, "Welcome to Hell" said the sign. So Pompey fans call their city, "Hell"

But according to recent reports, it's " -10 in Portsmouth", so

Hell has frozen over! Come on over!

I dont know!. Why are you Channon allowed to use the word 'Skate' and my thread title gets moderated from the much more descriptive term of 'The SCUM' to 'Southampton'. Some people are more equal than others its seems..............<doh> Can I change it back to what it was now ?.............<whistle>

Actually Channon you've got it all wrong.
A German decorating magnet was thinking of investing in the club and the message was supposed to say "Welcome to Heller Von Duplicolor". Unfortunately the author ran out of spray paint <whistle>

Well I suppose it's the difference between my rapier wit and your "lump-hammer" approach. Anyway, I used the word in question as a verb, not a noun. I'm sorry, do you understand any of this? <whistle>

Actually, I can believe that. After the Arabs Sheiks without money, a paint magnate who runs out of paint would make perfect sense.........<doh>

Would the Paint Magnate not be more interested in buying a club the Liebherr's don't want as it losing £14.7mn a year and has player's wages at 93% of Turnover, and who recently won the Johnston's Paint Trophy?<laugh>

Losing 14.7m not including the sale of Oxlade Chamberlain, which means we broke even, rather than just being broke!
