Why the fudgecicles is he trying to get us to sign M'Vila? I understand that he rates him, I can even understand that he thinks he can be better than big Pat (pffft) but why would he try and get him to go to his former clubs London rivals? Does he have a thing for him and wants him to be the best he can but can't see Chelsea fulfilling that? Does he think Chelsea already have the best DM in the world in JO Mikel (hee hee)? Can't get my head around it. Erm. That is all.
Quite! He's very animated about it. There's some video floating around with him really pushing it. I'd still take him, just not for the money being touted.
He knows its the best place to get M'Villa to realise his potential. Desailly has been very complimentary about Arsenen Wenger in the past.
I think he respects Wenger and wants the best for M'villa. He thinks that him coming to Arsenal would be best for his development and ultimately will benefit the French team. All of which is true, as we know Wenger has nutured a fair few French players in the past and currently...
Not only that, most of the interview was him saying that M'Vila NEEDS to come to the Premiership to United or Arsenal where he can develop with a little less pressure. I don't know this guy that well, rarely seen him. But I've only ever heard him hyped. Podolski M'Vila Vertonghen those three signings, coupled with the additions of players like Miyaichi, Afobe, Wilshere etc will make use title challengers.
That would pretty much make me confident. But i would still like to see some additional defensive coaching staff....
