yes we must get back to winning ways with this game, i fancy us at home for a win IF danny is dropped for luke moore and sinclair for routledge and dyer. we cant play players who cant score goals because if we do then we will lose.....

How many have Dyer and Routledge scored compared to Scotty and DG?

On topic, on paper, Toon win all the way. But, I think the boys played well Sunday and won't play like they did against Everton again, so I'll go for a 2-2 draw.

6-5 to the Toon, Cheryl cole to score first, Katherine Jenkins to score last.
Jimmy Nail doing a gig at the No Sign cellar bar on Wind Street to round it all off

jack ash we score goals when the players iv mentioned are playing, how many goals has danny and sinclair scored in the last 10 games.....you should be concerned about that and they are suppose to be our first choice players..not good enough and if it was not for an on loan player then we would be in the relegation spot. that is the reality of the situation and not trying to score points of me. i have a very valid point that needs to be addressed, all clubs need to do now is keep sig quiet and let us keep the ball in our own half and hit us on the break as our own suppose strikers cant hit a barn door with a shovel at the moment.

I'm not scoring points Dai, I'm simply making the valid point that DH doesn't get the supply he craves. Address that and happy days.

Normally i would go for a swans win, but its been a long old first season and Newcastle are playing some good football at the moment,so a draw...........with the outside chance of a sneaky win......no a draw..but you never know..but a draw

I fancy us to be honest. Long trip for the Toon and a few of their players won't fancy it. They still have injury problems at the back (2 Taylors and Collo still missing?) and although their replacements have done alright we have enough to beat them imo. 2-0 Swans. Graham & Sinclair. :)

Tough, tough game for us. Toon are playing good and getting the results lately. They will have seen the Spurs game and will have noticed they pressed us hard, we made the mistakes, and they got the goals.

For us, it`s a game we must not lose going into games against those at the bottom. The last few seasons we have not been good playing teams towards the bottom, so a result tomorrow is essential to get the "good factor" feeling back. Oh yes, and a plan B just in case we need to change tack, just a little bit.

I wish I was going to this game. Spent a very happy year in Swansea and I miss the place. This match could define our season and it is a must win as far as I am concerned.

Toon are playing great at the moment so we will need to be at it from the first whistle to the last. They start favourites, imo, and should edge this but, if we rediscover our best form, we have enough to get a draw and even a win if Lady Luck is smiling on us. The key will be us snuffing out service to their strikers and the back four dealing with it when they do break through - easier said than done but doable.

if all we got is danny to aim for then we will lose, he runs a lot and does sod all to get into scoring positions, if they keep Sig in check then what hope do we have, the toon are far better tactically and they have goal scorers, they are far stronger than us in every department and they wont care how many pretty passes we create in our own half, now with the bottom clubs finding form we cant afford to lose at home but if we cant score with our main striker then excuses that he dont get the service is just an excuse, he gets the ball ok but cant do anything with it and most of the time he is running back joining the passing game that ends up with the midfield having no striker to pass to. dont confuse his work rate as he has to be in the right position to score goals in the first place. if we go on or should i say carry on losing then all the good work that have been done could be in jeopardy and with liverpool and man united the last two games could quite easily see us fighting for survival in our last game. we need our striker to score goals and he is not so he needs to be dropped before its to late.....we are not safe yet...

There is no player in the Premier League that will make me more nervous when we play him than BA . P.S. With 7 games remaining I doubt that one club could make up 12 points to catch us , but it would take 3 clubs to do that exact thing to make us get relegated . We could lose 7 straight games & still prepare for Premier League football for the 2012- 2013 season

No, we are not safe but don't blame Danny. The running he does is not his choice, he's playing to team orders as dictated by Buck. No striker likes the work involved in closing down up front but it is obviously what is being demanded of him. Look what happened to Dobbie when he refused to put in the work that Buck wanted of him.

Personally, I would like to see him pasted to the shoulder of the last defender. He'd have far more energy to cash in on chances and, of course, he'd always be in the right position. But Buck doesn't want this. His game is based on pressure to win the ball back and it starts with Danny up front.

If the goals in the team had dried up I suspect that Buck might well have asked Danny to play differently but Siggy is getting a few, so I think that Buck is happy to let things roll for now. It's how we play. Contrast that to Newcastle with Cisse and Ba. Yes, they drop back to link up play when necessary but they are usually to be found in their business part of the pitch. Allow Danny that luxury and we would see more goals from him but at what cost to the overall team performance? I don't know. Buck is paid to know and that's how he sees it but don't blame Danny.

danny is to blame for a lot, he loses the ball often and his shooting skills on target for a main striker leaves a lot for fans to moan about. his work rate is good his positioning is poor and his accritcy at goal when he does have a shot is very poor hence the last ten games, i cant see where the next win is coming from, all this back patting for how good we are playing is rubbish.....we are beaten by patience and on the break, we can have 90% possession but when we cant score because all that possession is in our own half and midfield then what chance have we got, danny should be the striker to aim for and he is back playing the possession game, who are we suppose to pass too up front, we have been found out these last few games and unless buck changes the way we are playing then i cant see where the goals are going to come from..to be praised when we lose is patronising, if we were any good we would win.....

I see that Daiswan's 'Hate Figure of The Week' is Graham. <laugh>

"danny is to blame for a lot, he loses the ball often and his shooting skills on target for a main striker leaves a lot for fans to moan about."

I can hardly think of any occasion when he lost the ball last week or was passed the ball in a goal-scoring position. In fact, he hardly received the ball, and when he did he was up on the half way line. Hopefully he'll get one or two Saturday and shut your yap for you - until you pick on some other poor sod you've got it in for. <doh>

I take it you don't like Danny Graham them Dai ?

I'm glad Caulker will be back and I'd play Routledge instead of Sinclair too. Every chance of a positive result but I have to say I've been very impressed with Newcastle this season, Alan Pardew has done a brilliant job there so this is one of those games I'd happily take a point from. 1-1 is my guess.
