Okay, so the pups have had their say on the music from their formative years, but, I know there is a few Golden Oldies/ Silver Surfer's out there in Tiger Nation land, so, come on, what was your earliest song memory, first "our song" tune, fav. track at the Record Hop, fav. radio station? And what are you into now?? :emoticon-0103-cool:

My first song memories are listening to Meatloaf and The Clash when I was 7/8, and the first song I recall learning the words to is Electric Avenue when it was re-released in 2001 :D

Edit 1: I like anything 60's and 70's, and a lot of stuff up to the mid-90's. I can't stand rap, hip-hop, R&B or dance music. The first band I ever saw live was The Stranglers, and my favourite bands are The Who, Led Zep, The Beatles, The Clash and The Jam.

    Edit 2: And Oasis. :D

One of the few things that is good about "being an old fogie", is the amount of music, good, or, bad that I have in my old memory banks!

First record bought...I'm a Believer by the monkees
Fave bands when I was a teenager...Stones, Who, Kinks, Beatles.
Got into some of the folk music too Dylan, Donovan,Fairport Convention, Cat Stevens
Later on second wave... Clash, Boomtown Rats, Tom Robinson

In my music career working in sound I enjoyed Meatloaf, Supertramp, Dire Straits,Police
My all time fave guitarist that I could listen to for days on end is Mark Knopfler, such a unique sound he created on that guitar.
You can call me an old fart if you want I do'nt care I still listen to all that music to this day oh and in recent years I've taken a real liking to cajun/zydeco music especially live lord thats some good time fun music there!

Cannot fault any of your choice in music John, all the kind of stuff that I got "dragged up" listening to.
Have you listened to The Hayseed Dixie's?
