Im the opposite, Id be very,very,very surprised if he goes in the summer, fisrtly I dont think LFC would be willing to accept a fee of less than £15m,and I dont think anyone will be prepared to pay that fee.Plus without doubt he can do a job for us,say as good a job as Crouchie did, his form since Xmas as been good,and the stats say when he plays the odds of us winnin dramatically increase, i admit his response at the weekend wasnt the best,,but neither was Reinas and Gerrards but u dont wanna sell them, but a lot of LFC fans are saying is wasnt a bright idea to sub him in those circumstances anyway, especially after giving the Geordie defence hell in the 1st half hour,where he really looked up for it, Dalglish humiliated Carroll at weekend, given the cahnce again I dont think Kenny would have subbed him. Its a wonder he has'nt been tried in defence,He's big enough and strong enough to do a job and he drops back for corners etc anyway. He'll never flourish under our present system and although he makes a good target man hes often out of position when it matters because of it. Dont think any of us want him! Would mean changing our style of play to fit him in when id rather have Cisse, Ba and Ben Arfa up front. If we lose Ba (which i dont think we will, seems happy esp with his good mate Cisse here now) then our scouting network would find someone more suited for half the price. Still rate Carroll mind, first half hour against us he started to look like the player he was a newcastle. Maybe just needs to find the right club that will play the way that suits and he will start banging them in again.
