How the hell is any of that 'nasty' or 'attacking' a young player. He just thinks they are not good enough, which is his view.

I agree, personally I'm not a fan of Savage like I said, but nothing wrong with what he said here and I agree with him.

Nothing to do with him slagging LFC mate: stop auto-generalizing.

This is guy who is using OUR money to promote & perpetuate his career.

If he wants to dance, do the one show fine. But if he's going to be a bbc sports commentator: read the job description:we all have to.abide by ours ...

Dangerous ground there Drogs - it's still better than yours. I will however accept that it is stretched at the present with Lucas out and Gerrard well below his best.

Ok then.... but why can't he say what has been said about your current midfield? It's not malicious, it's just his views.

Would I worry playing against you Henderson ,Adam and spearing? That seems to be his argument. But then he forgets Gerrard and Lucas. Take away Scholes and Giggs. And perhaps he would fancy his chances his chances against Flecther (piles) and Jones (defender) too.

The fact that Giggs and scholes are approaching there fourties gives my argument some credibility.

Well that's your opinion there dave, some people may agree and some may not. Lucas is brilliant but for me that's it, like you said Gerrard isn't the force he was. These lads may well be good in the future but they're not even near the best in the legue right now.

Baz, he was in the Utd youth team with beckham, Scholes etc. and wasn't good enough. At his very best he was never good enough to play for Liverpool whereas the young ads who are currently playing have already proved themselves to be better than he was at his best. End argument.

No, he's not. But we have Ramires, Meireles and Mata to compensate which is why we're higher in the league.

Anyway this isn't about Chelsea, no need to get so defensive, I'm not trying to argue with you.

We are building for the future, that is what everyone misses. It amazes me, it is so clear we are not the finished article.

Your team is ****, Torres, Drogba, Terry, Lampard, Cech etc all past it, clicky as **** dressing room. Plastic flags. Bad times. LFC brighter future for sure.

Edit, Oh, forgot Cole. Lets hope Roman fancies another $100plus spending spree.

I agree with you - they are not presently the best in the league right now. However, they are still too good for Savage. Plus I truly believe that Adam will be a lot better next season and Henderson will kick-on if left in CM. As for Spearing he will, in my opinion, be a very good squad player.

Now Gerrard is another matter. It will be interesting to see if he improves in these final games.

Because he's paid by the bbc. He's overstepping being on his show & playing the devils advocate to get the phone in going. Now he's using the same forum he uses to promote his BBC career to express his OWN personal opinion, not only knowing it will get more views because of his position but will act as an advertisement for the BBC & continue his career; which is against the charter.

And all by attacking one club & specifically 2 players initially.

Could be any club. Maybe he's done it before but it popped up on my radar because of who I follow. You can only trust that if he'd done the same against Chelsea I'd have been as peeved.

He wants to do "his" opinion? Leave the BBC & go private, or alternatively set up an account under a pseudonym on not606 lol!

Clearly you're too much of a kid to have a calm discussion.
