maybe our defence has just been so bad, its made him look good!!! hes got no pace whatsover but other than that he has transformed our defence...having said that, i couldnt see him in the championship so it no surprise youve sent him out on loan
Hayes signed a 3 year deal - so he's got another 2 years. I would like to think we could get £500k if we decided to sell. If it was our old board you could have had him for a Alan Shearer shiny sticker and a packet of Haribo.
I think Hayes will be better in the championship than in league 1 as he has good footballing intelligence. But I rather suspect that his relationship with CP is bust so he may well be on his way sadly.
That schlupp from Leicester would be a good signing, defo one for the future! (Now i'm sounding abit like JA :|)
I gather towards the end it was just a Carlton Palmer sticker and a small bag of Pound Shop's 'Pick & Mix'
Out: -Doherty -Hayes* -Euell** -Hughes** -Bover -Alonso -Clarke *Won't play much and thus, may have some effect in the dressing room. **Won't cut it at Championship level, but could possibly be given a coaching role. In: -Lee Cook -Jason Pearce -Jamie Vardy -Jermaine Beckford -Loick Pires* -Graeme Murty** -Yassin Moutaokil*** * (am I Acworth in disguise?) **or someone of a similar age to Murty, who could do their coaching badges whilst with us, and thus wouldn't be too disheartened if not playing (but would be a competent replacement in case of injury) **no chance of him signing though, and probably a shadow of his former self now.
If Beckford played like he did for Leeds certain yes from most of us I think, Pires... could turn out to be a dickson Murty...is he like....40 yet? Moutaokil... what have you been smoking
Only problem with Beckford would probably be his wages I think. Pires would be worth a gamble I think, he's always impressed me when I've seen him and he's very good in the air and has pretty decent ball control. A real threat when drifting into the centre from the left wing. Murty is 37 , but a quick google search has shown me hes a youth development coach and doesn't seem to be playing any more. So if anyone can throw in a RB of a similar age I'd be happy or else just a Premier League loanee. I think I must have put Moots name in just for a reaction
I don't think Soton. would use Richardson in the Prem League (not while Butterfield is first choice ) so a return perhaps?
Thats a good point. Though I wouldn't want Solly being dropped and I wonder whether Richardson would be happy just warming the bench (at best...very few managers put full backs on the bench).
This will please FHB, it looks like Pritchard will be with us next season from Chrissy's comments - http://www.newsday.co.zw/article/2012-04-05-pritchard-eyes-warriors-chance/
HMMMMMMMM......... All this praise, and yet he doesn't get any game time. There have been opportunities, for instance on saturday he could have come on for Waggy or Stephens for the last ten minutes.
I'm not a massive fan of Pritchard, I think he's decent but not quite good enough for a top League One side. However, I feel he will be okay in The Championship, he'll have more time on the ball and his work-rate, off the ball pace and determination will be good attributes in that division.
Nah, Pritchard aint for me - he's not good enough for L1, so cant see how he can be good enough for the Champs. Another player who springs to mind, and could well be avaliable with Rangers plight, is Carlos Bocanegra. Look at the impact Clint Dempsey has had at Fulham, Bocanegra could be the holding midfield player we need.
