The ban on the guy was rescinded when he personally apologised for his previous wrong doing, if every Saints fan had the same amount of passion and demonstrated it, we would have the noisiest, most positive Stadium in the World. Outside of his Pompey passion he is a normal bloke (when sober!). I still don't like him though.
He wrote a letter to Saints to try and revoke his ban he received for pissing on the seats when they lost 3-0 in 2003 and they let him off.
Sam Allardyce must be the most depressing or depressed manager in the whole football league. Just been on Sky saying if they lose on Friday, they can kiss goodbye to automatic promotion. If his head got any lower he could lick his own boots clean. How different from our own dear leader. Nigel will never admit we're promoted until mathematically certain (remember the Plymouth game), but also would never admit defeat whilst there was breath in his body. Sam may think he's geeing up his troops, but he looks beaten before kick off.
Just a heads up to anyone travelling from Salisbury, There will be a bus service running from the station to Romsey and trains from there. Will be quicker and possibly cheaper to just bus it the whole way.
