Surely this guy must be given a chance in the first team, atleast from the bench. He seems to have bossed the reserves games he played in, 2 goals and 3(?) assists in 3 games. He must be a half decent player to have signed for Tottenham, and at the very least his FM and FIFA stats are quality! . On a serious note though, I cant see why Lallana and Falque on the wings isnt even being considered. Perhaps Nige is saving him as a secret weapon for the crucial last few games of the season
It has certainly puzzled me considering I know RM has been an issue, although I'm sure Nige has his reasons (you know what he's like, everything is hush hush)
There's got to be something going on with him... Some sort of deal or something. Why else would we loan him in, get him to start one game, sub him off and not play him again?
No, I mean Tottenham either giving us a fair bit of cash or him signing for us at the end of the season
Hmm i cant see Tottenham buying him and putting him on a possible buy after loan deal with us. And if Tottenham are paying us to give him some experience they probably would have wanted an assurance hed play a certain number of minutes
Cannot see Cortese or Adkins agreeing to a loan deal where we had to play Falque whether we wanted to or not...we aren't Doncaster! Think it's as simple as it looks...Spurs wanted Falque but wouldn't need him this season, so farmed him out, hoping he would get some games for us. Either he isn't good enough for the league leaders or we just have players that Adkins prefers.
He was reported to have picked up a niggling injury in training and hasn't passed the fitness test, may have made sub for the Doncaster game otherwise, similar problem with Puncheon it seems.
Falque is Lallana's backup on the Left, and De Ridder has earned his place as the impact sub No room for him right now
I think Chaplow's had enough chances now in the past few weeks, without ever taking them. So I'd be promoting Falque ahead of him. However, Falque is still behind Lallana, Guly, Puncheon and De Ridder in terms of getting into the matchday 16, imo.
I wouldn't bet against us signing him on loan for the season next year if (when) we go up. I have absolutely no doubt we will loan someone next season. Certainly seems a class above in the U21 highlights.
So why isnt he playing for us in the Championship? Especially as Nigel likes playing with a player in the hole, which apparently he is very strong at. I dont understand why we very least havnt seen him on the bench
I don't know, I think nige is just sticking to what he knows as it's too late to start experimenting and trying new players. Whereas next year (hopefully) we'll have less expectation and earlier in the season they're won't be as much pressure to get points. Other than that, your guess is as good as mine.
