Here's some food for thought. If Redknapp goes to England, and Bale and Modric both leave, that, combined with Adebayor leaving, means Spurs potentially have a rebuilding job on their hands, and that coupled with the new stadium (?) It'd be as sensible a time as any to bring in a manager capable of instilling a footballing ethos throughout the club which would be carried on beyond his tenure.

Also, since I heard that rumour (also before the press got hold of it) I haven't seen Buck say anything indicating he'll be at the Swans next season... It's always been "my focus is on finishing as high as possible" and "my focus until the end of the season is the team" which may seem like nothing, but Brendan is someone who picks his words so carefully it gives me real cause for concern.

I'm undecided, but if Buck ISN'T going, he's gone about reassuring the fans in a strange way.

Edit: We should get more than 5mil. How much did AVB cost? 5mil and we'd be ripped off.

I'm so glad Rodgers is getting all the attention and not Paul Lambert. Considering we are on the same amount of points and have beaten you twice it does seem odd Rodgers gets all the plaudits. But like I said, I hope it stays that way.

Perhaps it's the manner of achieving those "points" that attracts "all the plaudits".

You do play amazing football, but it hasn't earned you anymore points. I'm not actually having a dig at Swansea or Rodgers, both have been superb. I just find it interesting that Rodgers gets so much more attention.

This point was raised on MOTD when, rightly, attention was drawn to Norwich's fine performances which saw them in a similar league position to the Swans. It was contended, however, that it was the style of football that set Swansea apart as it is so different from what is generally played in the Premier League - particularly from a club newly promoted from the Championship.

Both teams are having a great season playing in their respective ways and long may it continue.

Ouch. Doesn't look nice. Hope that this is just a case of a journalist finding one or two interesting phrases when taken out of context. For all we know, the journo could have asked 'what would happen to swansea if you did leave one day?'

its very rare that a managers job is for life (fergie apart) so he's not going to stay forever. He has also stated he's no going to stay forever on the grounds that depending on results, and future league positions, he might be given the old "youv'e taken us as far as you can story)...he has also stated all parties are happy at the moment.

Managers & players are transient beings they come & go all the time, as is their nature. He`s here at the moment, `Arry is still at Spurs, we`ve got games coming up, let`s crack on.
As the saying goes, que sera sera.
