Peeps, I saw this video with Carl Jenkinson and I got a whole new level of respect and admiration for him, I wasn't much of a fan before but I am now. He sounds like a proper lad and anyone who still calls clothes "garms" is a legend in my view. My new favourite player and I won't have a bad word said about him <ok>

    <ok>.

Absolutely - Jenkinson for England. Alright, he has to get into the Arsenal side first, but he will ...

I'm still laughing about "garms". Was he born into the wrong colour skin or has he been hanging around black folk stuck in the 80s all his life <laugh>

proper gooner. People complain we don't have enough of them and are yet against promoting our youth.

Imagine how happy he must be with life. He's literally living out his dreams.

Very true. The feeling he must have had when he came on as a sub against Spurs when we were 5-2 up.

I don't really understand the hype about him, he's nowhere near good enough for our first team, and every time he has played he's done kinda crap.

He was very good against West Brom at home. Thought his crossing was brilliant. He made every cross count. Also he was pretty good against Udinese away.

In most games I've seen him in, he's struggled a lot. Not that I blame him as he has been thrown into the team too early. But yeah, I'm just a little unsure whether we should all be praising him as our right back of the future before he's actually played well consistently.

  12. He seems like a fabulous kid - and I actually think he has a big future. His ability is underplayed because he didn't cost a fortune and he was part of the team that lost 8-2.

I reckon he might start inside 2 years.

I like Jenkinson - he got a bit of stick when he first came, people were bemoaning the fact the we only spent £1m on a 'championship' player. But he does the basic things very well, gets up and down the wing and has got a great cross on him. I think he's a classic English RB and is going to be a very solid player.

The fact that his bedroom is plastered floor to ceiling in Arsenal clobber just is brilliant. A boyhood Arsenal fan playing for the club he supports - Roy of the Rovers stuff <ok>

Totally agree, but his crossing is excellent and toward the end of his run in the team he was much more solid. Still some way off being a starter but with his height, pace and power he will be an asset.

And even if he turns out pants he will always be a legend to me.

    "Garms" <laugh> I love it.
