not very flattering.. hooligan problems? the lack of atmosphere is something we're aware of.. he likes the programme at least.. http://groundguide1.tripod.com/id45.html
"Now, Hull’s chanting extent this day was limited to chants of “Who are ya”, which might I add, is the stupidest chant ever. There weren’t many of these people singing it. Infact, in my 3 visits to Hull, I’ve only heard them convincingly singly once and that was only when they were winning (hardly suprising) in my last visit. Other than that, they’ve been relatively quiet." Indeed. "Who are ya" is the most ******ed chant ever. Well, unless you count "When the Hull go marching in" which is a whole new level of ******ed.
Ironic too given in the dim past I went to Sincil bank twice to see the mighty Tigers play them, and both times half a dozen local yellowbellies attempted to rush into the (full) away end, a few times, only to be saved by the stewards. Well apart from one, who rather comically got into the left edge as I was looking (I was watching the game from the side with a mate who was a Lincoln fan) then appear about 2 mins later, looking, shall we say slightly ruffled, out the right side, was impressive tbh the way he seemed to just fly over the edge into more stewards. Oh and Who Are Ya to teams like Lincoln really is stupid...its not even that clever against the big Prem teams when you're beating them. He's right about the ground though, I remember the first time I visited the KC and was mightily impressed to the point of staring with me gob open.
Some twat who supports a no neck team, that no ****er bothers to watch, doesn't like the KC. I'm gutted.
Yes TWF, because I'm sure you stand up every game with your shirt off, waving your scarf around your head and bellowing your latest chant at the top of your voice.
Don't be such a Grump, OLM, just because you are missing the match!! Couldn't you have gone to Hong Kong a different week?
sorry he gave the ground a 9 and said it was impressive. we know it can be like a morgue and there are 15 year old idiots who always want a fight. cant see the problem.
I came this week as City didn't have a game on, it didn't occur to me that it was in International weekend, but I've never had trouble getting to see an England game before. I managed to watch it via Veetle in the end, thanks to Tim on CI, I'm still not sure why I could watch Slovenia v Italy, but not Wales v England. I've now stopped being grumpy.
Maybe it was because the Slovenia v Italy match was deemed to be a more exciting prospect to watch, by the powers that be!!! In all fairness IMO the England match was not that great (as you can probably gather from my posts!!) Enjoy you Sunday in the PRC
An old report - also recall many times when a number of their Chavs thought it was a good idea to attack City supporters at Sincil Bank when we were in the lower leagues. ran away coach travel in the early 80's and the local plod came onto our coach to protect us on our way past the Cathedral and down to the ground because he said Lincoln had some bad lads FFS.
It was a poor call, that game was worse than ours(though I'd quite like us to sign the Slovenia keeper). It's very odd that it wasn't on here, it's one of the only ex-colonies that are proud that they were a colony and there usually a lot of support for anything involving England/Britain and the pubs are normally packed for England games.
Good stuff. One or two on here were having a crafty **** about them earlier in the season, although the same way they do about any nomark club who has a bit of lower league success as they like to unfavourably juxtapose our condition with that of some dog **** club who happen to be on a mini rise. Never compare us to any sort of decent club. Suppose it reveals their own self-loathing mindset and a warped football versus success algorithim they possess.
Hmmm.... claims to have visited the ground for THAT playoff semi vs Watford, yet gives a rating of 1 for the atmosphere... Wait, why the **** do I care what this Imp thinks anyways?
