Lambert has indeed been quoted as saying he won't go back to Glasgow, but I'd hope he'd change his mind, if Celtic came calling and his time at Norwich had already run it's course. He was still under contract as a player with us when the club let him spend midweeks in Germany earning his coaching badges instead of training, we were paying him while he was studying to be a manager - so as a former captain of Celtic and a Celtic man I'd be disappointed if he didn't take the opportunity to manage us somewhere down the line if given the chance.
Aye Dev, I hope to **** Brendan Rodgers goes to Spurs and not Celtic Madness we have to joke about this **** really.
Yep He's from the same area as me. He played for a local boys team called Linwood Rangers as well (the other team in that village being a team wearing green called St Conval's - that I played for) before joining St Mirren.
I find it difficult to believe that there was any trouble the last time Celtic were down as they have the greatest fans in the world (apart from the West Ham fans obviously). I hope everyone has a great day out and plenty money is raised for this worthy cause. I, myself, will be buying some tickets for the raffle where I hear the first prize is a pair of Delia's frilly knickers - second prize is a pair of Stephen Fry's Y-fronts.
Anyway we only asked them because Cheltenham Town FC couldnt do it.......At least we will have an easier team to beat now.
Well done my man, that is possibly the biggest insult you could aim at me!! I hate that **** with a passion you could never begin to imagine. Normal insults for us Norfolk folk are; Six fingers on each hand, my sister's my mother e.t.c. Just to help you on your way you understand! ILD OTBC
Run Celtic busses all my life ( over 30 years ) went out this morning with no thoughts on this game . Come home got 40 names and will now be there . Been there before , remember Ipswich 81 as youngster !!! backward huddle in Norwich on a Tuesday night
No way cant believe im seeing St Convals on this message board. My whole family has played/managed at that club (Gormley) I thought lambert came from a rangers family but grew up supporting celtic.
