Shirt pulling is not "technically" a foul,it is a foul.It is a shame referees don't have the guts to do something about shirt pulling in the penalty area.

It depends because Barcelona have the ball FAR more than anyone else and statistically get fouled more than any other team. Therefore based on pure stats they should get more penality's. The reality is they make their own luck.

I dont buy into these conspiracy theories at all.

    ???

Both pens - definite pens as correctly surmised by Souness. Milan should've had a pen when Ibra was fouled.

Don't think there is a conspiracy here at all chaps ... let it go. I know Barca pinched Fabregas and a few others and beat us in the CL final but, conspiracy ? Nah.

He wasn't having a bar of it was he.

Jamie Redknapp - the epitome of "unoriginal".

Souness made baby 'arry look a total ****.Trying to argue that shirt pulling is foul play but because referees rarely give penalties for it Barca shouldn't have had a pen <doh>

When you have the ball 70% of the time. Alot more decisions will go your way.

    Its just sheer statistics.

There are a lot of things that refs will turn a blind eye to. Pulling shirts in the box and 'shepherding' the ball out for a goal kick i.e. obstruction are two of them. When Barcelona are looking slightly ropey and the referee suddenly decides to not turn a blind eye to it whilst ignoring the exact same thing at every other corner in every other game, it suggests they get more than the rub of the green.

Sounds to me like sour grapes.

Yes Busquets and Alves are diving cheats but, I don't see any conspiracy here, Barcelona are comfortably the best team in world football. I don't hate them I just marvel at the level of their football.

But it does seem that on the rare occasions a team get the better of them, or threaten to, they more often than not get a soft decision their way. As hilarious as it was when they played Chelsea a few years ago, it was an astonishing display of refereeing.

As far as I'm concerned it shouldn't have been a corner (which led to the penalty)

The thing is .. if it were Arsenal and not Barcelona the people claiming a conspiracy theory would be complaining if they were NOT given to us !!!!
