Cheers mate. If we do get 4th, however unlikely it is, it's gonna leave one team bloody gutted and probably hating us forever, but that's football unfortunately. Unfortunately, the ups and downs we've had since our Champions League days were based around an old model of running the club. An unsustainable model. Everything has been gutted out now and is ran a different way purely for long-term benefit. I certainly hope so anyway. Things are a lot different now but the scepticism won't completely go away for years yet. Btw, one more quick question, do you guys see one club as bigger than the other, or the same size and stature?
Newcastle's a whole new story this year to me. I'd thought of them as suffering from delusions of adequacy. But just let them sell a pig in a poke to Liverpool for thirty-five million (Liverpool! ), make some brilliant purchases, and be in the champion's league running, and suddenly I'm all for them sticking it to the Man. I could never quite decide who I liked in the rivalry, since I'm pretty neutral on both. But if I think about it, I'll check in to enjoy the banter before the derby, which has been enjoyable. As for Sunderland: I'm planning to find out the first thing about theire team this year before Saturday, but I haven't got around to it yet.
