Celtic "fans", remember: "Misfortunes of others, consolation of fools". It'll be your turn soon, as you're all dyed-in-the-wool ****ers.
Hun "Fans" remember "The glory of great men should always be measured by the means they have used to acquire it".
How about this is all your own fault so stop whinging like weans, blaming everyone else and getting upset because your great rivals (the team who's manager and high profile fans were recently sent parcel bombs by your fans) are not really that sad to see you cease to exist. Slán.

I cannot believe everyone seems to ignore the role played by David Murray. Murray had brought Rangers to a shoite position, the only way the club club could go was down. To use Murray's words (Whyte duped Murray) Murray duped Whyte. He explained all the money Rangers were going to get Via Champions League/UEFA Cup. Murray also produced accountant documentation showing EBT to be legitimate and convinced him Rangers would win the case. Whyte was duped and when Rangers fell out of Europe at first opportunity Whyte got worried and on close investigation he realised that Rangers were no means certain that they would win the big tax case. Whyte then started his tricks to protect himself and make his money. But Remember who the real con-man is.
SH, i think everyone knows what Murray did, but its really what the Whyte Knight has done since thats surprised everybody. Obviously he was planning on playing a longer game with C, League money, etc, but when that didn`t work out, he just went ahead with his own plans anyway. I guess that he could be called a "Cute Hoor" EC, Im with you on the one, that Whyte didn`t act alone and i have my suspicions that Ticketus are a lot more than a nodding acquaintance.
Murray's main aim was to get his hands off the wheel. But everybody seems to think that Whyte caused all the trouble. It didn't matter what Whyte did when Rangers went out of Europe, the club was losing a £1m per month and Whyte decided he was going to cover himself. Whyte may have speeded up the going into admin but it was going to happen no matter what he did unless he was going to throw his "own money" into the club for mth to mth expenses. No wise business man would do that.
sh - as Hoopster67 says, Murray's role in the debacle is well known and I would imagine, when the outcome of the big tax case is revealed, he may be in line for the criticism currently reserved for Whyte...if the case goes against them. Hoopster67 - in respect of whoever Whyte's 'accomplices' are, it's interesting that it has been reported that Ticketus are, so generously, prepared to give up some £17m of their season ticket sales claim .... I would imagine there are enough strings attached to that deal as would make a rope with which to hang the club by the short and curlies.
Rangers and Ticketus were doing deals long before Whyte was involved with Rangers. Murray was selling future SPL ticket sales to ticetus whilst Whyte was a billionaire. The only way Whyte could get that particular liability of his back that he inherited from Murray was to commit toa bigger longer term loan deal with ticketus.
That still does not prove that they are/were not in cahoots with Whyte to take over the whole sorry show and start from scratch. Possibly they saw a chance to own the whole lot, rather than just season ticket money. Liquidate the club and own the newco. All conjecture of course.
