Hey boys and girls, what's your view on young Oxo?

  2. Very promising. For such a young player he looks totally at home in the first team.

We'll need to see how he develops, but he seems to have everything needed to make it - and that means as an England starting international.

Yeah,I think his best position is in centre midfield.

He's a far cry from when I saw him on his debut for Saints, but he still has some developing to do, hence why I think Wenger doesn't use him as much as some people would like. He's not good enough for the England squad yet despite what some people think, but he's had some great performances for us. I just hope he keeps improving as he could be a real quality player.

I understood that Saints fans saw that as his best position, and he could claim that place at Arsenal. At the moment I think he just needs more games, I think he's deserved his chance for a run in the team.

I'm looking forward to him playing with Wilshere again <ok>

My worry is that the glimpses of promise we have seen will raise expectations too high. He is a few years off starting for the first team IMO. His size and strength and positive running will make him an impact substitution, but getting past Song Wilshere, Walcott etc into the team will be a real challenge.

Arsenal fans can get very impatient and he will have off days, off weeks or even off-months. I hope the fans don't turn on him.

Astonishing talent. His performance against Milan shocked me in a good way. Before that game he always played on the wings and he looked like a natural winger. He would take people on and cross if he was playing on the right or cut in and play a bit more in the middle when he was playing on the left. But then in the Milan game he was almost doing the role Wilshere did last year. In CM alongside Song. And he just adjusted his and game and slotted in. His performance was again, brilliant and he gives us different options. So far, he has been like I said, astonishing.

Great talent. Hope he stays with arsenal for the rest of his career as he has a great attitude. Though I'm sure as a Southampton fan I'm sure you guys hope he gets sold to barca for a massive fee so that you get some inflow of cash! you guys have a great academy though I might be mistaken but I think we're pretty well
Stocked at left back and midfield so you need not worry about us going for shaw or chambers. Like you as a team so hopefully see you in the prem next season.

Strength, ability, pace, confidence & youth. All the ingredients are there with the exception of experience. Fingers crossed for a great future at AFC :)

I'm not one to go over the top but he definately is the real deal. He has pace, power, balance, ball control, passing, shooting and vision. He is the complete player and at the same skill level of Wilshere. But above all else, he seems to have a very good head on his shoulders which will help him in his development. Both OXO and Wilshere will be our best players in the coming years (outfield), only time will tell which one will be better....

Yeah, would be great if he were to get sold to Barça or Real Madrid in the future as we would get 40% of the transfer fee :D.
You know about Shaw and Chambers <grr>,hopefully they'll stay at the club for a bit longer than our previous graduates.

It is funny to see how many Saints fan has turned around - before they all said "you guys didn't even buy our best player".

haha expected as much. Well its hard not to notice shaw and chambers considering there are some sources (unreliable in chambers case though some respected journalists have said we are monitoring shaw) linking us with them. Either way i dont think we'll go in for them though there appears to be quite a queue for shaw and i hope you keep both of them as well as the other gems you guys possess. Shame you're probably going to beat us in the academy league...maybe next year!

Good player, technical, fast, a natural baller, can play anywhere across the middle. A cert to make it to the top. Bookmark this <ok>

Very rare that you find a player with the mindset and ability of a winger who can play so comfortably in centre mid where the game is totally different. Amazing talent.
