Ok so theres still a couple of games to go but after watching the match last night and seeing you grind out another result I dare say your going to win the Premiership again. I believe you all should worship Alex for the rest of your lives because to be quite fecking honest the man has provided you with 20 years of epic success that will never be matched again. Trust me as a toon fan it hurts to say it sometimes but I am jealous as fook. I am also pleased that you look likely to win the league again because its testament to the foundations that have been laid at your club two decades ago and now your reaping the benefits. I work with some United fans and they appreciate the position you are in. Unlike some City fans who just by the sheer fact that they have spent over £400 million, expect to win the league and demand instant success. They already want Mancini sacked. Comical really. Being a toon fan and in a completely different position to yourselves we have a board and club ethos that will hopefully mould our future but I think the model is based on the same model you set many years ago. The days of spending epic money are gone (for us anyways) but what we are doing is making progress. Finally I want to cast your minds to 4 Jan 2012. The day we beat you 3-0. Since then (Im sure I am right here) you have not lost a single game in the premiership and almost picked up maximum points. Dare I say it that day was the big kick up the backside you needed to spur you on to win the league. Imagine the changing room with Sir Alex after that game. Last thought. 6 May 2012 - NUFC vs Man City - We WILL win this game and ensure the title goes to St James park. Just please do me a favour. Beat the dirty mackems on 13 May. PEACE!
Still a long way to go in this title race so we need to keep our focus and not let our guard slip. Newcastle have had a fantastic season and credit to Pardew and your team for that. You will probably be in Europe next season so good times ahead for the Newcastle fans.
Stoke fan here Just wanted to pick up on Gergiegenola's comments.. Firstly well done on the win last night, left it late but as usual got the job done. Hope that's now secured the title for Utd as for letting it slip re Sir Alex.. This was the point I wanted to make.. I'm currently reading a book about Sir Alex called "The Boss" It's pretty old in camparison to some latter books written by Sir Alex himself but as the Toon fan say's.. The foundations we're laid over two decades ago. Fasinating reading this book and I'm reading mid book at present he's just taken over at Utd and his own words to Sir Matt Busby "It will take me three or four years to get things right Sir Matt" HOW right Fergie was and even at a young age then Managing Aberdeen.. the guy expects NOTHING but the best every minute of every game. A great read if some Utd fans have not read the book. Author is Michael Crick it's brilliant and tells exactly WHY Utd have been so dominant over the last 20years and counting.. Great man, and I was surprised tbh his scoring record is more or less a goal every other game! More than anything he knew what it takes to win things from an early age. He was a winner than and he knew a good player and could also handle them, they didn't like it then tough they we're gone.. apart from Gordon Strachan and a couple more of course.. he does not suffer fools never has. Great Manager and you are so lucky to have him.. he turned Spurs down in the early 80s Good luck for the rest of the season.
