Evidently Celtic have agreed to play in a testamonial for Norwich City's Adam Drury at Carrow Road on 22nd May, this should be a great occasion honouring an outstanding servant of our foorball club.
I have no doubt that thousands of 'hoops' fans will descend upon our fine City that day, let's just hope that there's no repetition of the damage caused on Celtic's last visit <doh>
Norwich do have more than one connection with Celtic in Paul Lambert (The Messiah) and David McNally (McNasty;)). Anyway, here's hoping for a great game and atmosphere.<ok>

It would be interesting to know how Celtic fans remember Paul Lambert as at Norwich he is already a legend for what he has achieved so far and has already been inducted into the club's 'hall of fame'.

I hope no Celtic fans go down. You lot have no interest in Scottish football beyond telling us how ****e it is and telling us to **** off whenever the possibility of joining your league crops up.

The only time you want us is when you want to line the pockets of your players in testimonials or friendlies.

Unfortunately, a lot of Celtic fans will probably travel down but I wish they would open their eyes and see they're just being taken for a ride.

Thankyou for your polite response ST, it is normal these days for highly paid players to donate to charity on these occasions. However, I must admit that I do not know whether Adam will be doing so as much of his playing career has been spent in the second tier of English football.

And you're quite correct, I don't think it would be right for Celtic or Rangers to join the English leagues, but that's a debate for another day.<peacedove>

I have nothing against Norwich or any other English team (apart from Chelsea).

Just fed up of people down south who wouldn't give us the time of day expecting Celtic (and Rangers) fans to go down in large numbers to fill player's pockets.

As an English football fan, I can tell you teams to hate, you may have worked them out already though:

    Premier League

    Liverpool
    Arsenal
    Norwich
    QPR (big time ****s)

    Championship

    Southampton
    Leicester
    Derby
    Peterborough
    Bristol City

    Ones to laugh at

    Watford
    Fulham
    Brentford (<laugh>)

But now, for the one you've all been waiting for, the top 3:

    3. Luton

    2. Cardiff

    1. Can only be one winner, manage to consistently blow others out the way with their ****ishness...

To be fair, a lot of the fans that go to these games are "ex-pats". I certainly used to go to the pre-season friendlies etc when I lived down south as it was the cheapest and easiest way to see celtic.

And why do Celtic and Rangers want to join our leagues, not so they can line their pockets with our money by any chance?
Give it a break guys it's a friendly!

Paul Lambert - super guy. I want him to do well and I even look out for results of Norwich games just because he's your manager.

<ok> My fear and that of many Canaries fans is that one day he'll move on as he's surely destined for a bigger club. TBH I always look for Celtic's result hoping that the've won as I don't want Lennon getting the sack and Celtic trying to poach our man ! Most of us down here can't understand a bloody word the great man says because of his Glaswegian accent, as long as he gets his message across to the players, that's the main thing. Funny thing is, when the manager of the opposing team is a Jock, (and there's plenty of them in the EPL), he laughs and says he hasn't got to talk posh for once ! <laugh>

Don't think you need worry for at least another season or so - when Neil Lennon lifts the League trophy shortly he's guaranteed to be more than welcome to stay as manager ....though there's always the possibility that he may choose to walk away given all he's had to put up with. Good luck to Paul Lambert and Norwich in any case!

Paul Lambert is on record as saying he would not come back to Glasgow, it's sad but true. The joy may be shortlived for Norwich unfortunately, for I fear he is destined for a move to the ominous sounding "Bigger club". It's no shame though, players are for sale because they are assets, Managers are too and good ones are as much in demand as good players and every club (bar one or two giants) knows there is always a bigger club ready to call.
