By politically partizan, I mean left leaning. If you mean something more specific, then maybe you are right. I don't know. The behaviour of the provisional IRA over the last number of years has been to put their arms beyond use and promote exclusively peaceful means to achieve their ends. Do I agree with the path they have taken? Absolutely. I can explain to you why it isn't sectarian but I quite agree that it can engender sectarian beliefs.
Well my point is Sectarinism isnt necessary religious related it can be politically motivated. Anyway I think our job is done here. Although do you condone the IRA behaviour prior to the peace process?
I take the first point, but i maintain it is an irresponsible term to use in Scotland. When the term is used in terms of Scottish society, it is meant in terms of a religious divide. To use it in any other context muddies the waters. maybe deliberately so? In answer to your question. in a word, yes. It would take a thesis to outline why.
An irresponsible term to use in Scotland? So why all the IRA songs? Why the songs about oppressed in Ireland? Celtic Park was in Scotland the last time I looked up. But the question is, why the flags of Palestine and Libya inside a Scottish football ground?
Yes Do you really need to be told the history of the club and its support? Because we have a section of our support that is left leaning and politically aware. I must confess to not having seen a Libya flag at the games.
The history of your club? Why were Hibs doing just fine in Scotland until the formation of Celtic? Politically aware? Please, spare the spin for a dummy. That's a cracker, "politically aware"
Anyone who think there is no sectarian problem in Scotland only needs read this thread. Which club has the bigger problem with it's fanbase? The comments alone will show the truth. It's ****ing shameful.
The Catholic Church sending a report to the cops about our singing last sunday, has really made my day! I don't know whether to laugh or laugh!
Just read that online in one of the rags. I really, really, can't abide these ****s. They cover up the actions of the priests bummin wee boys, but a wee bit of singing and it's a holy war. ****in despicable organisation
