With the injury to Lee confirmed and still doubts over Rickie and Connelly there has to be a good chance that Barnard will get a run out against the skates. I think it's just the sort of game he could thrive in and he could make himself a real hero! Views?

Why hasn't Tad's injury been confirmed on OS. I'm not doubting it, but where has it been confirmed.
It was good to see Barney on Saturday, though not a good game for him to be involved in. We may yet need him...just one goal could make our season.

Told it was on Solent yesterday. An operation and out for rest of season!

There appeared to be some confusion between Tad and Lambert, both said to have had ops, and Nigel came out and said that Lambo was on mend and possibly back on Saturday, but nothing on Lee. If it's true Lee has had an op (and it looks to be true) it's annoying not to just have it confirmed and we can move on. At the moment, I still have 5% hope.

I'm gutted that Chung will not be making any further contribution to our promotion push.

But like you say, it gives Barnard a chance to show what he can do and hopefully he will grab a goal or two before the end of the season. His hard work and determination is what we need for such a game on Saturday.

I love Barnard, and am glad he is finally going to be getting some game time!

Be good if he did a Connolly! ;)

Adkins has confirmed that he's not out long term and may be available for Saturday, but I'm sure he won't be risked if still carrying injury. No better than 50:50 I would guess.

Cheers fran and good luck for the rest of the season boys - hope you and Reading finish above the shammers boys which would be a shame <whistle>
