I haven't visited or contributed very much lately as..........

............................every time I come on here I end up a bag of nerves with my blood pressure through the roof.

The endless speculation on the final games and where we will end up, endless permutations of scores and league positions, the Pompey match will be so unpredictable that we shall probably be beaten, Rickie won't play again, Reading are going to run away with the league, West Dam are going to come good some time, we will have another blip, what happens if we end up in the play offs, the Leibherr's are going to sell up, Cortese is off, Liverpool will come in for Nigel, if we don't go up we will lose all of our best players etc etc.

I have come to the conclusion that saints fans are the most neurotic supporters in the country and that they constantly need to be worrying about something.

I said to the very lovely yesterday that we should rent a remote cottage in France with no TV, radio, internet or newspapers for the whole of April and only come home once the football season is over.

As we are unable to go away I am going to restrict myself to the very minimum of visits to this site for the next four weeks in the hope that I can retain my sanity and my health.

 

I know what you mean...I just cant wait to get the remaining games over....where's CBK when you need him to kick ass?

Just to make sure that you are not tempted back too soon, which would be bad for your health, I will take your tickets as well and make sure that they go to a good home, particularly the match this Saturday.

The very lovely wants (in her words) to go on a pilgrimage to Strasbourg. I can't think why. Maybe she's hoping she might bump into someone there.

 

I know the feeling Godders! I went with a good lady friend to see the "Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" on Saturday evening during MOTD and completely forgot that we were "playing" Blackpool! When we got back just checked the Internet for the result! Horror of horrors! Move on!
