Cabaye was saying something to Suarez just before he did that. I think he tried to tackle Suarez and got hurt or something. Strange that he did that literally about 15 seconds later.

Because Carroll's dive was up there with the best of them but the major thing is the fact he passed up a golden chance to tap into an empty net by diving, that what makes this dive special. Must be the first ever attempt at a dive that (if succesful) would still put the team to a disadvantage, a penalty would still be harder to convert than that tap in opportunity
Im sure I remember pool fans going nuts about bale taking a dive at anfield .... Whats the difference now apart from it being a pool player being slaughtered? The problem with diving is that we defend it when one of our own do it and slate others teams players whenthey do the same. Carrols dive was a joke...you had some decisions not go your way but the truth is you were awful yesterday, yiur keeper deserved to be sent off and Carrol deserved his booking for diving
Er.... we're not defending it. Just pointing out that plenty of others do it. I think you'll find that most LFC fans on here concede that Reina's sending off was deserved under the rules of the game and that Carroll's yellow also was deserved, so I'm not quite sure what your point is?
Let's be honest; going by his form this year if he'd actually tried diving properly the ball would have hit his foot & shot off the post!
Surely one of the main reasons as to why everyone is talking about the Carrol dive is because of where it happened and why he did not just stay on his feet and tap the ball in? It was totally bizarre and one of the strangest things I have seen this season.
Well, I am going along with the dive theory, less embarrassing than the truth, he fell over. Still rate the lad though.
Colinlee, thats the point! Even when Bale dived the focus was shunted all on Suarez 'kicking' Parker. Stories are manufactured and pushed more than others depending on who plays for a club that has a manager they are pally with. Pardew, Hodgson, Redknapp etc. Its the same with Ferguson, anyone involved in the media can't criticise him otherwise they'll be banned from future press conferences with Ferguson. I wish newspapers and the BBC reported the news instead of manufacturing iy to suit certain parties.
Did you not see the look of horror on his face when he heard the refs whistle? He was thinking "Christ who's going to take the penalty" He'll be fine. Think Kenny should threaten his pony tail though; an inch off for every missed chance!
This time next week he'd have a crew cut.[/QUOTE] He'll be like skrtels twin! We'll do the opposite for Skrtel: not allowed to cut his hair if he's passed by the opposition. There; all this whining & handwringing & we had the 2 solutions to our problems all along!
I really like him, he was really throwing himself around until he got the card. He works very hard, saw him pop up in central defence at one point. He always plays the simple ball and his pass completion must be quite high. Must be **** playing for Liverpool as a forward when you are top notch in the air. The wingers can't cross and Suarez does not like to pass. Poor Andy
But remember he's world class, well at least in your mind. I thought world class players were class regardless of their team mates.
