Ok, I accept it, we are ****, Kenny is ****, life is ****, we are doomed for eternity. Now give it a rest.
Although I hear John Parrott wants him gone too but we all know the colour of his underwear now don't we?
someone said we scored against arsenal, no we didn't it was an OG I have been kicking around these little plastic balls that came with a pop tent for the kid, I am walking about talking to the other half and pinging them into the top corner of door frames and windows, chair legs you name it, and I am saying, put me in there problem solved
stopped reading the rubbish at...Setup and tactics spot on clearly they are not. Oh and years of better football........haha, funny guy. I remember another team who used to claim they played amazing football...... seem to recall it led them nowhere and they had a far better team that you have now. Play to your strengths.....hoof ball.
Given the sheer number of ex Liverpool players in the press I'm surprised it's taken so long for one to speak out; John Aldridge has thrown his two pence in; "To have picked up just eight points out of 36 since the turn of the year is shambolic - that's relegation form. The fact that this is the worst run in the league since 1954 speaks volumes. We're becoming a laughing stock. At the moment being a Liverpool fan is just embarrassing and that's something I haven't had to say before." Maybe even Hansen will say something negative about the King!
aldo has a bllody short memeory then cos he's said the same thing about rafa and hodgson.... clearly aldo can't rememebr this nor the calring cup win... shrot memory form the guy making a living out of newspaper fluff pieces... in other words he is paid to say those things specifically.
We have facts in front of us. Why is anyone surprised? Unless we wear kenny-tinted spectacles of course. I will say it again: some posts are just surreal "We played wonderfully but we lost because we couldn't score" "some players are playing crap therefore it cannot be Kenny's fault" "if we had not hit the woodwork we would have won 3-0" "we should have thrashed teasm 12-0 so why is it Kenny's fault" Unbelievable. I am surprised that people are not embarassed at writing stuff like that here and some gullible fans still take that seriously. When the whole thing is condensed to who is responsble for all this and for sorting it, it is the manager. If our team cannot be arsed to play like the bl**dy mancs, whose fault is it? Who gives the direction of how the match should be played? If it is not Kenny then why is he picking up £4 million a year?
i reckon carl you need to take a break and come back in august cos it'll only wreak your head. me i'm entertained by it all... good or bad its all part of the drama.
No problem. I am cool Of course it is drama. We all like drama. Some fans think that the OP was serious while all he was doing here was to take the mickey out of Kenny and those who support him.
Context. What's the average number of woodwork hits for a PL side? Make the allowance and consider what's left as a mitigating factor unlikely to continue next season. (Bear in mind Van Persie had the highest number of woodwork huts in the league previously and look at him now.) Do the same for outstanding opposition goalkeeping performances at Anfield. Like the woodwork, you expect some but not a plethora, so make the allowance and adjustment. Allow for the fact we're rebuilding and not just easing in one or two players but half a team. Allow for Carroll not being fit initially so us not having a Plan B, as I've elaborated on already in another thread. Allow for 4th slipping away and complacency or despondency feeding into games, which hasn't been there in cup games. The final only looked nervy because of the pressure of our first silverware since 2006, blah blah blah. Even though the final; was progress enough for the owners it wouldn't have been for the media or some fans. Heck, we won the damn thing and it's still not enough to stem the criticisms and the BS about Kenny. Kenny's thrown away more about football than any media muppet will ever know. He may have been out of the game for ten years but he was ten years ahead of the game anyway. The rest of the game has just had a chance to catch up. He had not only Shanks and Paisley as tutors, he also had the great Jock Stein in his formative years. That's one football management genius for each of the years on Kenny's current contract. And three is a magic number.
